I use this mobile phone since 2006 and Im very satisfied,there is only one problem you should be very smooth to use it.

Still worked great! I'm not too sure what other people are complaining about in terms of the mp3 player. It's basic and it functions quite well I found. I can fit about 40 songs encoded in AAC at 96kbps. AAC also sounds the best. (Trust me I've tried with m4a at 48kbps, wma at 64kbps, mp4 at 96kpbs and mp3 at 96, 128, 160 and 192kbps and to my ears aac really does sound the best) My only gripes are It scratches really easily and the battery life is mediocre. It is also extremely easy to change it's housing, which I did just recently and looks and functions as good as new now. I love this phone and I hope to get another 14 months of use out of it! My only suggestion to anybody would be to simply carry an extra battery with you. If you have any problems with the screen, it could be the flex cable inside of it, I've read they can be faulty, there is a great video on you tube that gives you a detailed demonstration on how to replace it. (they only cost like $20cdn on ebay) I also used this video to change the housing. Oh ya, for uploading java, you do need a .jad file. If you go into the program files / lgcontentsbank config.ini folder, change EXIST_JAVA=N to EXIST_JAVA=Y. Change MODEL_NAME=xxxxxx to MODEL_NAME=KG800 i'm guessing in your case. then under program files / lgcontentsbank / contents create a new folder and name it "Java". Copy your jar and jad files to the Java folder and make sure the .jad file ends with "MIDletX-LG-Contents: KG800"

Hi, I've had this phone for a week now, and tested it on multiple levels.
One of the first things I noticed was the easy handling in the touch sensitive keys...you only need to get used to it...what I've seen in some reviews, the fact that you had to press multiple times seems rubbish..you just need to get a hand to it.
I've also seen complains on the music player... I have had no problem with any songs, not even with variable bitrates (as i've seen complaints).
The one thing I've encountered was the unsupported .jar files (aka games and such). I've not yet tried a direct link with a .jad file but the chance that would solve the problem is slim.
On the very dissapointing level..is the lack of a card slot and 3g network. LG has put these features on multiple phones, older ones and surprisingly...they couldn't find a way to implement that in this otherwise wonderful cellular.
Design. On this level, the LG crew performed above any expectations. Then slick slide phone, with it's "delicios" name proved to be a wild card worth playing. The touch sensor buttons are obviously another big plus. The small dimensions also bring the "chocolate" on one of the best looking phones on the market. Also to be mentioned, the price/quality raport is good if not best.
In the end we can say that yes, it could have been better, but what we have is enough. I give it an overall 8.8, with it's most important minus being the lack of a memory card slot.

this is one of the worst phones i have ever come across
LG have really let themselves down with this phone as it has put me off them for life
there are constant software/application problems and i would strongly suggest any one thinking of buying one thinks long and hard as you will never have full use of the phone as it will always be causing you probkems

hiya peeps!
we just wanted 2 say that this fone is quite gd, but the MP3 player doesnt preform well on sum songz as it does 4 other songs. we have had this fone for 10 months. its hardwaring cuz it still works perfectly after dropping it millions of times!!! i (georgia) have this fone in hot pink, and katie has it in lilac.

just wanted 2 say that ive had this fone 4 almost a year now, and, i must say that it is quite gd. i no the battery life isnt that gd but wot harm is it 2 charge it? wen i first got it, my music player wasnt very loud, and my frends woz, then all of a sudden, mine got very loud, and my frends went quiet!
i would recoomend this fone to people between 12 and 25. also, i would just like 2 say that i have the hot pink 1. thnx 4 reading! G.C - former user x x o o

Here are some things that bother me a lot about this phone:

Music player can't be set to run in the background, poor battery life, file manager is very dull, slow camera, no playlist, voice recorder only last 20 secs!! among others! Don't buy it!!

this phone's style is pretty nice, but the battery life is reallyyy bad!! it says here that it has a talk time of 6 hours, and standby of 200 hours, but for me, my talk time is like 5 min at most, and when i use any of the functions, it drains the battery within 10 minutes.

this is to any of the people that find this phone very attacting and are planning on getting this phone... i strongly advise you not to get this phone because ive had it for about a year. these are the problems i have: not being able to charge, screen turns negative, screen turns blank, slide gets stiff, turns off for no reason, horrible battery life, and the touch pads and the side keys are so sensitive when it is in my pocket it just goes into browser. on the internet this phone looks very good... but when you actually get to see it... it looks like crap...if youre buying it... good luck overcoming your hatred for it..
