My phone works OK as a mobile phone. One can load up text files into the "Others" folder but... you can't open them to read!

Yes this phone is cheap to buy. The camera is basic and obviously not as good as more expensive phones. I bought the phone because I wanted to make calls and texts. I don't care about the camera as I own a high specification digital camera. The phone has always worked well for me and I am happy with it. If you want high spec photography, mp3, internet access and all the various bolt ons then you need to buy a more expensive phone at about £150 upwards. The LG KP235 is cheap and as a result is limited in what it will do, but it does it well. Be sure of what you need in the first place and then buy accordingly.

I think it's insanely good, considering I've got one. My only problem with it is, I can't remember how to change the text tone, but other than that, it's freaking amazing!

i think this is the low quality of lg phones ever made made and also thinks that very low people will engage on it.

I thing this is the worst product ever to come out of LG mobile division. SMS-ing is near impossible, poor quality of the microphone makes conversation to other people tedious and very often the phone get locked. A truly piece of crap.

I think this is the worst product to come out from LG mobile division. SMS-ing almost impossible and low quality of the microphone make talking to others a tedious task. Too often the bloody thing stops working.

jesus people what do u expect?!!! this phone in shops in croatia costs 15euros!!! it s made for simple actions -sms and calls.camera is vga,like an addition...phone is just fine!!!

argos mis advetising!! tut tut. its suposed to be a basic phone thats all. you get what you pay for. stop moaning about how crap its camra is ect!!!!

I got this phone in Croatia. Design not bad (voted 7), specs OK but camera is a crap. After few days of use it started to freeze whatever operation I was performing. I returned it to shop for firmware update (I hoped) but when I got it back it worked flawlesly few days then again (less frequently) started to block. I'm thinking of returning it back to change for some Nokia. To be avoided.

This phone is brilliant. Loved absolutley evrything about it. People who say their texts wont work, its cos u bought it from argos. WHY U FINK DA PRISE GON DOWN IN ARGOS? DAY ALL FAULTI!!!!!!

iv'e done the same thing. Bought this phone from argos and there is no video although this is listed on argos.

Had this phone for 4 weeks and very happy with all aspects of it, sound is great abd easy to use and no problems with texting. however, I didn't but this phone to take photos as I didn't buy a digital camera to make phone calls.

I have to say I bought this phone 6 days ago and i'm taking it back. It is hideous to use. I have texts that I can't access for some reason. It was working until yesturday when it just keeps popping up with 'please wait' when i try to access them. The sound is bad, the picture is bad, the keypad is bad. And to top it off, when i bought it i was told that i cannot return within 14 days if i don't like it, well it doesn't work so they are having it back, i can't be running to the shop everytime this happens. plus it's Friday so everybody who is texting me with plans for tonight thinks i'm ignoring them! So do not buy this phone, there are no redeeming qualities about it whatsoever!!!!!

If you check the Argos site there are now customer reviews of various phones including this one and anyone should remember Caviat Emptor (May the buyer beware). This phone has plenty of problems (certainly in the uk firmware) one of the problems is in the texting system not working (the person who had the phone had received the updates from Orange and read and deleted them turned the phone off as advised by the store and the phone would still not allow you to create a text message or go into the inbox of the message system) also when you try to master reset the phone with 0000 ie the default code for lg and the one named in the manual the phone freezes and then when you turn it off then on the phone asks for a security code which you dont have so you then have to head to an orange shop for them to sort out this codge up in design of this phone). Also the picture of the camera is the worst example of vga on a camera phone in fact the old LG7100 had a better camera in 2003 and even the old Siemens MC60 performed better and that ancient).
My friends cat photos were like mud.
Please avoid the phone like the plague there are better phones for your money that do mp3 ringtones. Some have 1.3 or 2 megapixel for the price being asked for this monstrosity.
