Another GLITCH...

Well, there are a couple of little glitches that I encountered. Some are not even worth mentioning since it's very easy to resolve.

This one, however, was a bit irritating to me. Some of you may have encountered this (or not).

This one involves the SMS.

I don't know if anyone of you noticed, but there is a certain way in which you to input your SMS messages.

If you interchange, the keyboard, keypad, changing the buttons to numbers, doing the T9 etc. There is a good chance that it will disable these two:

- Saving of SMS messages
- Sending of SMS messages

My assumption is that the cause of this is the changing of the input options. Changing those options while inputting was (sort of) the key to the functions going disabled.

Initially, it started with the prompt showing "send 2 sms), when it only contained half of the 160 characters.

Solution: Turn off the cellphone.

hello!

I bought the Cookie yestarday! its great phone! I just have 2 problems!

firstly, some website r ok but when Im trying to open gmail, for example, it shows "secure connection failed"! this is just for some website, others r ok, therefore I dont understand what is the problem!

and the second: its not making bluetooth connection with my Nokia!

maybe u have some solutions or advises for theses problems!

people still didn't answer my question :( Can u set a slideshow as your wallpaper? Also if u have a memory card in the phone will it appear as a different folder named 'Memory card' or something like that?

BTW, I wanna thank this site 'coz if it wasn't for my used-to-be defective unit and this opinion fora, I wouldn't have met a gorgeous lady who happens to own another defective cookie who happens to be my former schoolmate and (sort-of-a) neighbor.hahaha!

By the way, PEOPLE:

I'm from PORTUGAL, can I update to firmware version 10n?

My Cookie is NOT sim-locked but I don't understand if this version is only for Eastern Europe or not.

Any Help? Can I upgrade my phone with no worries?

i live in canada and im wondering where i could get some games for this phone. And also, I cant really store many messages. so after about 600 i have to keep deleting. Is there any way to keep all my messages?

I watch movies in mp4, resolution 400x240 for the video to fit the whole screen! Seriously it's a great quality image. I use a video bitrate of 216 and audio of 128.

lifting the video bitrate up to 512 makes the video to lag but I guess that problem as already been solved with the new firmware update. I haven't updated my Cookie yet, but it doesn't have any major problems so far...

QWERTY is the common english keyboard. The first top left letters of your keyboard might type QWERTY. If so, that's a QWERTY keyboard.

There are other types of keyboards though, like HZERT, or something but you don't usually get to see them...

It all depends on the disposal of the letters to type. And QWERTY is the most used and the one you got used to when typing on the computer. :)
