Now KS 20 is launched in Singapore IT Show starting today. You can find it at Starhub's booth at level 3 selling at $398 with minimun plan.... But it is to late for me as I aready bought Nokia E51...

i dont know the release date... in Australia! sorry :( anyway i bought my phone from a guy, ho boughted it from France! i paid for it 300 euros! the phone was new with all the accesories! i also use a x-sim to be able to use it! :P :) hope i spelled correctly! have a nice day!

and yes, n95 is diff. as i remembered it, it was REAL loud... as long as this one is not too soft, im fine with that :)
now, when is it coming out in australia? sighs

sound qulity average (for example)compared with the n95! the phone is loud... i can hear it on the busy streets... dont know about others but i can hear it and for a pocket PC the sound it's( my opinion) ok! i can't compare it with the n95's sound quality because n95 has stereo speakears and that phone is very loud! and for the sms mp3 ringtone! it can be done!:) choose a mp3 file that you whant to assign for your sms event! copy the file in to your windows folder! now press start->settings->Sounds & Notification and select the Event dropdown list and look for 'Messaging: New Message', then choose the mp3 file! that's it! peace

yeah, regarding sound...
1. what's the quality? and is it true that it's not loud enough?
2. so we can choose sms ringtone from any mp3?

i had the same opinion about LG... and now that opinion has changed...! LG-Ks20 is my FIRST LG phone and it's very impressive! this is my opinion after 3 weeks of testing and playing with the Ks20! :) hope this will change your opinion in a good way!

it's already selling in HK and Msia, not in Spore n Indo yet. And no news on Australia at all. anyone has any clue? :(

hy! first of all i like the design! for now it's the coolest PCC on the market! the screen it's ok... like all the qvga display's! i like that the phone is very light, performance ok... camera very good and impressing! stand by time about 4 days! it's my first LG phone... and i'm very impressed! wifi good! i had a lot of PCC and symbian phones including the n95, n82, n73...etc but this one cought my attention! i recomend it to all! :) have a nice day!

I like the viewty a bit more cause, it has almost everything the ks20 has and a 5mp camera( i have the viewty btw). It has a document reader, that is very easy to use, u just cant edit the text like the ks20, ok it has no wifi and thats it. The DIVX is outstanding, playing with DVD quality- if not better, the res is better on the viewty,and sceen size as well, and its 262k not 65k like the ks20. It has several apps that u would find on smart phones such as muvee studio and smartlight. Apart from wifi the viewty wins hands down :)

to Onsy... lg ks20 and lg viewty are different phones... lg ks20 it's a windows mobile device with a 2 mp camera... lg viewty has a 5 mp camera and it doesn't have OS, it only has the LG software witch comes with the phone! if you whant a PCC, a Windows mobile device, go for the LG ks20... if you whant a camera phone go for the viewty!i've seen and tested viewty and the camera it's very good!best mobile camera for now!better than the camera from nokia n95! chears

to jason: browsing speed quite ok... when using WIFI! sound quality: good! stand by time 3 or 4 days, depends if you surf the web a lot, take pictures, music etc! camera is very impressive... i believe it's the best 2 mp camera i've ever seen in an PCC! it's true that phones that use Windows mobile hang... but if you know what app to install your phone will work ok! the phone is very light because it's made from fibre glass! sorry for my english but i'm from Romania ... chears
