never mind i found the answer to my question. So basically most lg ks20 requires to be flashed and i only had my phone for exactly a week and I think it's already a huge mistake to get it. Overall the design is good but performance isn't that great

I bought the phone from an authorized dealer in Canada. I went back to the office thinking I would simply log on to get the owner's manual, since there was none in the box. What frustration. There is no owner's manual!! and it takes several hours on the screen, going through washing machine, TVs etc to discover that there is none. After paying 800$ it is enough to create a nervous breakdown.

I bought the phone two months ago for $550 in New York, what huge mistake it was!!! To list some of the most irritating problems:
1) Exceptionally bad battery life, need recharging twice or three times daily for minimal usage, even with the wifi and bluetooth off.
2) System Hangs up regularly.
3) Skype does not function properly, unable to talk.
4) Wifi signal strength very poor
5) GPRS disconnects too often
6) Screen scratches easily and requires constant cleaning
7) screen a bit too small to use with finger
8) Oh yes and as far as it being a babe magnet; sorry its a no go!
If anyone is listening do not buy this expensive phone. I would give performance a 2!

I got the phone for a week, and oh boy what a big mistake i made. The biggest problem with the phone is it hang all the time, every time it does, i have to hard reset the phone. which take forever. sometime people call me and it hang before it ring. other then that, Most of the apps and games work nicely if it doesn't hang, and some games will have flicking screen which make it unable to play. (ex. worms world party). The best thing about the phone is it style. anyone that see it will want to play with it. All i can do with this phone is bring it to the club and try to get girls with it. lol

My KS-20 cannot run 2 Java programs at one time. Do anyone know how to run 2 Java program at one time on KS-20.

does anyoneknow how to solve the "hang" problem, as my ks20 always get hang and auto shut down by itself. once its off, i will need to plug the charger in order to reboot it. imagine u r out to work or etc and you do not have the charger with u? the phone just cant on at all until i reach home. thx

It is a super excellent PDA phone - it looks good and keeps all my biz documents well.

just got the phone. Overall, I do not like the sensitive-ness of the touchscreen. Definately not as good as the iPhone yet. Yes, it can hang if playing video. Bad part is, do not have quit function for program. Have to go and stop the program from the manager.

I have had this phone for two weeks and my opinion? Never Again!!! I think there R more more more better phones, using of KS20 is a big apocalypse, LG did a big mistake with presenting this model like "superstylephone"

i bought this phone last week and i must say it is better than i expected.
i had 3 years ago a wm phone, a qtek 2020i, the worst phone ever, bought if for 800 euros and sell it for 500 after 1 month.

since then i had n70 and n95, very good phones, especially the n95.

i put on my company microsoft exchange and i need a wm phone to syncronise also task (not possible with symbian phones even with road sync)

pros:
- very light, compact design
- good speaking qty
- decent baterry life (considering its big scren, hspda and so on)
- bluetooth is a suprise. both n95 and n70 were working with bmw bluetooth carkit, but without accesing the agenda. on the ks20 is working and i can make phone calls from the car without looking in the agenda

cons:
- ie not working too good, blocking, had to change it to opera
- bluetootk is somethimes disconectig when working with my carkit, incoming calls not hearing always. i guess is a imcompatibility. my car has from factory motorola bluetooth
- display hard to use, the iphone has a much better display.

concluding, i am satisfied with this phone. for my need is the best since i do not EVER want to hear about qtek, hts or simlar shitty phones. if you want to use it also for emailing is great. if you want to take pictures, listening to the music or else, take a n95.
however, i am waiting for the experia. :)

4 singaore side all PDA doesn't came wif Chn u hv 2 buy the chn software. visit http://www.mobem.com 4 the trial. if u need 2 write chn a lot no choose u hv 2 purchase the software juz like me, but is ok next time u change another PDA u still can install the software again in ur new PDA w/out purchase. but remember 2 keep ur register numbers e-mail
