Dear all,
I just bought this phone today. It's look good and sample buid material cuz this phone will not look luxery, However, it's normal and look good for lady than the man hand its.
The key easy to push and feel relax when you type the email or sms, mms, or chatting. However the bad news is that in the typing text, this phone no dictionary to correct when you have spelling problem like anther phone those have Dictionary even they have QWERTY key too (Ex: Sony P1i). So if ypu dont mine abput the dictionary during type, I sugguest this phone good to have with comfordable cost (I bought in 160USD, CAMBODIA, Warrentee 1y).
The speed is ok for me, it's good to go cuuz I have compare with Sony P1i that use Symbian as well. But I didn't see any problem with the speed.
Sound, no big comment on this issus. Cuz I have test with my P1i or another my mum Nokia Express music as well, this phone in the middle rate. However the loud speaker in the good condition. One thing I found that the bad news as well is if you make the sound at higest volume it's heard a bit noise come out like China phone, but if you just put the valume lower one level from the higest the sound is good and the sound still luad engouh for your room or house to hear its song.
MP3, same as another phone or easy to compare it's same as LG Shine.
Headset, sound is ok as well with both MP3 or Radio. but can not compare to Nokia express music.
Internet, GPRS must require cuz no WIFI or 3G. However, it's easy to surf the Internet cuz QWERTY keyboard. Email is the rich funtion on this phone. Cuz you can use Yahoo email or chat by use its yahoo defult chat in browser.
Theme, it's same as LG shine or similar to another LG series nothing the big change from its.
Battery, it's good. However, I just use in the first day. So may need more time to edite the comment if i found the update. NOW, it's good during testing or using.
Ringtone, OK, Loud.
Finally, Yes you should have if you have limite budget. If you pan higher than this cost, please look through the Nokia E63. Cuz it's symbian and rich funtion with WIFI. Nokia E63 also good price to go too.

I work for Optus and honestly this phone is the number one phone brought back to us to go away to the service centre. Two main problems is the LCD display it goes black with coloured lines all over the screen and the battery doesn't last long. Shit phone of should discontinue it much like the chocolate phone too many LCD display issued I'm sick of logging reports and sending this phone away to get fixed waste of time.

HI,
I have a ks360, but the sound on the handset is not that good....is it normal????
Aswell as foto's on my pc that i load on the phone it doesnt want to view it but both was the same size and from the same folder...
Why is that...

Considering that I have been looking for a good phone for months now, the LG KS360 has just saved me the effort searching for a hip-classy-costeffective phone. In short "This is what I've been looking for!", looking at the specifications though I hope it's perfomance is as good as it looks 'LG's DONE A GOOD JOB ON THIS ONE'!

In OZ...only optus has lg KS360...
I think hiptop is SMS only?? have a couple of questions.
1. how much space/no messages in inbox ?..
2. How much space is avalible for java programs.
3. Can you copy Java *.jar/*.jad files to this mobile and run the java applications...or are java apps only availible via wap download

Im planning to change my hp and im considering this phone...
Is the keypads ok ?
Easy to type?
Does the buttons spoil easily ?
Or gets stuck if u press too hard ?
Is it rubber ? coz it looks like rubber...
Im currently using a sony ericsson phone which TOTALLY sucks !!! A friend recommended LG phone to me...so why not change...i worried about the keypad...

i got mine in hongkong mine is white/limegreen... its really cool and the pictures are so clear im lovin it sooo much,,,i live in philippines and they dont sell it here.. i recommend this phone who loves to add spuml while texting,,

To be honest, you'd be better off going to Telstra and getting the Hiptop.
When comparing the two plans, the only way you can get unlimited txt on Optus is if you're sending to Optus prepaid ONLY. With Telstra, send it to any phone in the country and it's unlimited.
You can't compare the two plans. You'd probably end up saving money on the Telstra plan also. Just attach a mobile repayment option onto it and you're as good and gold.
Do your research on both plans and what they off, compare Optus and Telstra coverage, and then make your choice.
