@ henryc, maybe you have 2 names of the same number thats why the name was not registered, just an opinion... hope it helps

the unit i bought last week from globe have a problem it wìll not display names of people who txt even if it was registered in your contacts or phonebook anyone experience this and know the settings? Pls help

If it has A2DP, then it's perfect.
I hope LG will be able to provide a firmware to have A2Dp support (provided that the handset has HW on it eo eable such)

i cant connect with its built in browser. can somebody teach me how? i have the access points for my network(SMART). when im connecting, it flashes a message connection failed, it looks like it is not trying to connect at all..

havent tried for Smart Telecom... although affordable, i have tried before using nokia.. they do their 'rebrowsing techniques for charging'... at first no page found until retried(x infinity) of course per kb is charge
So if there are Smart Telecom personnel reading this.. kindly evolve your style..
the KU250 internet speed is DSL speed for 3G areas, use UMTS for network in browsing WAP not the old GPRS access points..
which means a 3kb or 1.5Mb games or application will fininsh in seconds
I tried 1G and 2G microSD.. and still works.. its my month of using it already.
It is true that Album cover pics could be shown in its media player if you are fond of it then use MP3 tagging software.. use Google..not yahoo.. there are freebies..
yahoo's are for chicks...
googles are for geeks...
it is true... ask whom you know are hardcore geeks...

the phone Security is very secured..
havent found an Phone File explorer to browse it yet so far...
I have tried so many games and so many applications.. so far i have 100 - of them installed.. 150 mp3, 3 dvdrip movies, 100 video clips , 600+ pictures, and just 57% of my memory card is filled up..
Headphones using bluetooth could be used.. but stereo headphones seems best..
Flash lite? use mtoolbox
any problem in connection.. the best possible solution is to go to SMART or GLobe center..
let those guy configure your phone and activate it on their laptops or pcs... texting is much await... but for them to activate.. just 2 or 3 hours or even immediately
I was amazed also by the Nokia WIFI phones.. This is the only phone i can afford yet... but i know LG could do it more than they think

can someone send me their configuration for the Profile to connect to the internet?
Seems like the one in the Smart Website is wrong. I got a connection error when i click the connect button in the Internet Kit
Plese send me your config for country, network provider, call type, profile, apn, call number, user name, password.

the lgku250 has loudspeaker or speakerphone and a lighted keypad.. if you are getting the phone from globe the cd is not included.. whats included in tha package is the unit,battery, charger, manual and the usb cable.. so if you have a cd installer can i borrow it? well its a cool phone for me..for now...lets see whats coming up next
