phone was awsome at first now calls people by self and also calls that come through dont but will say missed in device and doesn't always notify if have a sms

at first phone was awsome now sometimes calls dont come through to device but says are there and missed the same with all types of messaging with device total latency but that could be in network but they dont always come through

this phone is the worst phone you could ever buy i work for cpw and we sell it why did lg make this phone infact why do they keep making it its just giving them a bad name its a disaster

The LG KU800 is a good quality phone, it is just extremely sensitive and needs a very careful owner. I have had two of these phones now and i have found out that most of the phone's problems is due to one design fault in the entire phone. It is a Flex cable connecting the top half of the phone to the bottom of the phone, the flex cable is shocking in design as it is very weak and the strong metal slider mechanism smacks against it when opening and closing, this wears it out causing the cable to bend and eventually snap, Hence white screens, touch sensitive not working, speaker not working etc. You can purchase the flex cables on ebay for around $10 and are fairly easy to install, installing a new flex cable will have your phone working like new again. I agree the battery life is schocking, the power save tends to help out a lot, but i prefer to have two batteries incase one goes flat when im out, i just change the batteries.
I really hope LG will design a new Chocolate phone with a battery that lasts longer, a better quality screen, and less sensitive and stronger parts.
I personally like the phone for its look and the use of the mp3 player.

Another weird thing - when I turn on the phone the battery is full, all the bars are there but then it just goes blank and I get the message telling me that's it low on battery and it turns itself off again.

I've only had this phone for UNDER a month and there's already something wrong with it. I've been very careful with this phone and have only really used it for txting and recharging it when it needs recharging. But for some reason while I was txting the other day the phone got really hot (still had the recharge cord on at the time but had fully recharged) so I took off the cord and left it for a few hours. When I returned a few hours later to reply to a txt, the phone had turned off and when I tried to turn it on, I couldn't because it was low on battery. Last I checked it was fully charged! Fully charged it again, took off the cord, left it overnight and it's telling me it's low on battery again! Looks like it won't recharge anymore. A few other people have mentioned a similar problem too. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING. I got my mum to purchase this phone on a whim - instead I should've taken the time to so some research on the phone. Now I'm gonna see if I can get an exchange on the product. It's not worth it if problems are already starting to arise.

I may buy it but i don't know if its good or not.. it lookes beautiful.. but i care more about the mp3.. is the the music really loud?!.. i hope so..
and a nother thing.. does it have a speaker phone??? thanks..

i have this phone for a month now and its working perfect... i dont get why your battery's go empty that fast... i dont have that problem.. also i dont have any problems with the sensetivity of the phone.. if i close it its locked so...
I have him in pink... it looks very nice and i really like the phone..

I have had this phone since March, I desperately wanted itfor quite a while and when i finally got it I was happy with it. Although now it's come to December I must say I am not sure it was a good move getting it. I find the touch screen too sensitive and you send things, call people by accident. The picture quality is quite poor and the flash does nothing and it is impossible to take pictures at night unless you have a torch. The battery is not great and i have to charge it every day to keep it going.
All I can say is, Can't wait till March and i get a new one!!!

I really liked this phone at first on bought it... it hasnt even been 2 months yet and it already has problems, i can not see anything on my phone, the screen is white and i hav not idea why it is acting this way.. i have not dropped it or damaged it in any way, my friend ha sthe exact phone and is experiencing the same problem. im very dissapointed
