Sam,i own this phone now,so i can answer ur question,
1) The camera is at outside;
2) LG Claims that this is the advanced version of KG800 oh!
But let me tell u,u will need to be very patient to use this phone,as the sensitive key pad is too sensitive sometimes,i also need to choose the number key to avoid the wrong option when i use it.in fact, i plan to change mine now,pls consider carefully b4 u buy it! Have a nice day!

phone is crap!! battery life awful camera awfil. wud not recommend at all. very poor for LG!!!

i bought it for only 68 sing dollars. its pretty.. just that the touch pad might be too sensitive when u are pressing the side buttons, but not as sensitive when u actually want to use it. other than that, if u are looking for just a normal phone to use, its not a bad choice. Pretty.

I have this phone! I hate it! It is looking nice and that is it! Everything else in this phone is a scrab! Hate it! Please don't buy it! You will be calm. If buy it you will be anoid. Trust me! This is my first and last LG mobile.

i am thinkin about gettin this phone but then i saw all of the negative comments that people that have this phone have written and it has really put me off! are you guarenteed to have all of these problems when u buy thhis phone?

For those of you who ask, YES, this is the Chocolate, but the updated version. Much better. It has 3G, epandable memory, 240 x 320 screen, much better 2MP Camera, streaming video, voice memo, almost double the battery life and it is slightly smaller (94.6 x 45.6 x 17mm) and slightly heavier (98g), giving it a more solid feel. All this plus the standard features listed the KG800, which is the original Chocolate. This updated version is a great phone.

I'm looking to buy a new phone...
And this looks like a great one...
BUT.
Is it the LG chocolate?
Because it looks like it.
And is it it's money worth?
I want a phone simular to this one in appearence...
But i tend to drop phones quite easily.
What other phone if this isnt suitable for me... would you recommend?

not true. you can set whatever mp3 and picture as ringtone and wallpaper. but you can't change the SMS notification tone

I use to own a motorolla and had nothing but trouble, so the minute i saw this phone i fell in luv... Naw i hate tha damn thing, i have had it 6months, and it has been in geting fixed 3months out of that, for the price i paid for it, u would expect all the functions to work.....

This is the worst phone I have ever had. In one year it's gone back three times as it wouldn't charge properly. You need to charge it every five seconds and when you call a bank or something and need to press the number keys the touch does not register.
I would never buy an LG phone again.
