It is a good phone so anybody who wants to by a stylidh phone with good features this is the one.Though it does scratch easily but dont let this put you off.

Is it just me or does this phone crush ur fingers when u close it. It has happened to me several times... well maybe if crazy :)

the battery for this piece of metal is crap.
this phone only looks good seriously.
i guess it is ok but its features are reli crap and its battery is IS SO CRAP. the only good points are: its cheap and it looks good and it matches my style.

The LG shine just keeps shutting off by itself and the Mp3 is not loud enough. Battery life is less than average. This phone only looks good.

For all of you having mp3 issues, if you use the program "Yahoo! Music Jukebox" transfering all of your mp3's is a piece of cake. I too am starting to have problems with my Shine, the darn thing keeps turning off on its own...:-(

Have had this phone for one month now and I can safely say that it is a mediocre phone. Average battery life, average mp3-player which does not play loud enough. The phone looks great though with it's clean, sleek mirrored coating...

Within the first month my Shine wouldn't hold a charge and the second month it won't turn on after charging.
Afraid this phone has problems!

This piece of crap phone keeps giving me problems!!! I've had it for not even 2 months yet! These are all of the problems w/ the LG Shine SLider: phone turns off by itself, att logo gets stalled, split and inverted screen of screensaver (not even downloaded), no calls coming through, my voice messages and texts will be received only after i turned off the phone and back on, texts wouldnt go through, when people call me i would get a blank txt message..... ahh mustve left some out.. but this is soooooooooo frustrating! i had 2 replacements already!!! tomorrow a new one will be sent.. and the rule for getting a new make and model is if they find a defect on the last replacement then they will go ahead and let me choose a new phone!!!

We bought the LG Shine for our daughter only two months ago and it is now a paperweight. The screen went black, there are lines through it and the phone just won't work. She says it would turn itself off at random before the screen problem. We took it to the store where it was purchased and they claim they can't replace it. Guess we'll be trying to contact the manufacturer tomorrow.

I've just bought my LG KU970, wondering that this phone is compatible for the window XP? becuase i've been trying to install the software, but it seems error. Anyone know what is going on? How can I install the software in order to drag my mp3 songs to the phone? Thanks so much.

Its me, who was wondering about the screen problem - I got my brother to take it in, who just happens to be quite Buff and they took it, didn't make me pay $110 and didn't argue at all. If there isn't a physical crack oh the glass, obviously its not personal damage, coz then where is the 'crack' so to speak. And apparently its a common problem with LCD screens to sort of die. Take it back to them or call the manufacturer.

Hi, I love this phone and its style..but the fact that the battery life is soo bad really gets to me. Can anyone tell me if there is an extended battery for this phone??????

Yes, I got the same problem. I didn't do anything to my phone, and the screen cracked. I've only had the phone for 3 months, and they want me to pay over $300 to replace it. That is just insane. They keep saying it is physical damage and not a defect, so though luck for me. I am really angry about this.
