> In reply to prado @ 2009-11-06 12:24 from PFABup until the "charging" indicator stops, and that goes for most things that needs charging-- they all have indicators while charging and then stops after the battery is full. or charge and go whenever you please as the phone uses li-ion battery that doesn't have memory. of course be guided as well that batteries do lose capacity after sometime of charging and discharging, we call it normal wear and tear in the technical field.

> In reply to Rax @ 2009-11-05 01:04 from nbj6you'll be fine until you find the phone doesn't allow multiple apps or games to be opened at one time, or for an app or a game to be opened while listening to music or radio. certificates installed doesn't allow you to install most signed applications. pictures are on a bit grainy side and the flash doesn't help much in dark conditions. file manager is cr@ppy and takes ages to load once you have filled up your micro sd. oooppps! sorry. was i talking my mind out loud? well, the phone redeems itself with the great videos it can churn out with its camera. and then again, there are now new phones that can take hd-quality videos.

> In reply to prado @ 2009-11-04 11:35 from PFABpress the screen lock button near the shuter button. thise serves as image stabilizer in still camera mode. but then again i wouldn't suggest using it as it disables the flash and doesn't do much stabilizing either. hehehehe.

I just got the LG KU990 and I am really pleased. It was like the only phone(with a reasonable price)that I needed and wanted.Touchscreen,videocalls,5MP camera,100MB internal and 2GB external memory,Radio with RDS-all that makes this phone just perfect for me! The only thing whats missing is wifi, but I have wifi on my Nokia N93,so it does not matter anyway. This is my first LG phone and I am really pleased with it.I have had only Nokia phones before and some Samsungs also. Here,in Estonia the phone selection is limited:Nokia,SonyEricsson,Samsung,LG,Siemens and Motorola and thats it! Now there is HTC too.I hope this LG will not be a disoppointment for me.

I just got the phone recently, and when I try to charge it, it keeps making this beeping noise. It gets really annoying, If i change it to vibrate, that doesn't help either seeing how it just keeps vibrating. I don't know what to do? Is something wrong with my phone, or is there a way to disable this feature.

> In reply to jumpy @ 2009-11-03 08:33 from RxnWI agree with Jumpy on the issue of using micro sd(hc) cards which are 4gb and up.

The LG Viewty seems to have been only optimized to work with 2gb micro sd cards. It will work with 4gb, 8gb and even with 16gb micro sd(hc) cards (I've tried all three of them). The phone will still be able to read data stored on them, but not write on them. Case in point: in the camera application, you can set the phone to save pictures and videos taken in the external memory. But as soon as you press on the shutter button the camera would automatically set to use the handset memory saying that the external memory is already full.

The Memory Manager application in the phone could only measure up to 2gb and would not be able to measure correctly any other card with a higher storage capacity. As such, never format any higher capacity micro sd(hc) cards on the phone. In an instant, your 4gb, 8gb and even 16gb micro sd(hc) cards will be reduced to only 2gb. Even my pc showed this. There is still a chance to recover the true capacity of your card should you have made a mistake. I used a Nokia phone to reformat my 8gb micro sd(hc) card which the phone reduced to 2gb and got the lost 6gb back.
