i now know that my viewty will work with a 4 gb card but i need to know wat brand please my 100mb is used up now (after only 3 days LOL) so i need to know a.s.a.p thanks

Just have to say the the design its cool, but the touch screen sucks. I used a Motorola E6 and it waaay better than this phone. You have to press the screen like 10 times to get a response, sometimes you touch one thing and something else comes up. Not really feeling it.

yes it does work with larger memory than 2gb phone will only recognize it as 2gb though. I have 4gb on my phone and here's what I have on the memory:
-8 of full length divx movie each ranging about 300mb to 400mb
-89 mp3's
-64 mp3 ringtones about 33sec each
-125 images
with all these my phone memory status says
1628992kb in use
306896kb free

I just love this phone!
I always view its commercial on youtube..I love everything about it. Its Beautiful,Elegant and Very Functional. I just Hope Di sya tataas ng 21 thousand pesos dito sa Philippines. I Would like to buy one this december. I hope fone shops here will start Selling this Viewtiful Gadget. =]

Thinking about getting the Viewty for my 13 year old son he has his heart set on it for Christmas, however been told that the screen is very sensitive when its in a trouser pocket and it can unlock itself and start making calls. Has anyone had this problem?

just about to get this phone just need to know if you are able to download some software that allows a better slide viewer ie need something like the nokia n95 slide show automated.

Can someone plz help me, how do I view word, excel etc documents on my Viewty, it says they open in the "documents" folder, but when Ive sent work to my phone via bluetooth its saved it in "other" and when I try to move it, it wont let me. And if I try to open the documenmt where it is in it says unsupported file type. Your help would be much appreciated. (:

Initial Thoughts:
Extremely Smart Phone. Texting on screen is very easy and the vibration feel is really helpful as you get used to it.
Camera is brilliant although I have not tried advanced features yet
Scrolling is difficult to get used to but gets easier as you get used to it.
Internet surfing is really good and touchscreen is sensitive enough so you don't need to use stylus.
Will report back in a week when I have played some more....like new gadgets!!!

Got my viewty about a week ago and its pretty good but i want to ask if anyone else has this issue or i should elf. I sent some songs and photos from my computer via bluetooth and took a photo then all the bluetooth files disappeared. but if i turn it on and off it reappears sometimes..? has anyone had this problem? should i elf just going to hate to put that protective sticker over the phone again

I posted here a week ago that I was selling my Viewty. I already did for $550. I felt obliged to tell the guy my reasons for selling the phone which are its lag time and poor picture quality for a 5megapix cam, and he seemed to not care, so I was happy to sell him the phone. My black 8gb N95 is on its way, yeheyyyyy. I had the original N95 before buying the Viewty.
For those people who think that the Viewty is a great phone, I am happy for you guys, and it is indeed a nice phone, but please, do not say that it is better than the N95, especially the 8gb one. It may be better looking, but I don't think so with the black N95, but the N95 is still the better performer. I owned both, and I can attest with my life that the N95 has a better picture quality than the Viewty. I cannot speak for the video quality for I didn't keep the Viewty long enough to even try. N95 also has the better MP3 player. LG has a bigger screen than the N95, BUT ONLY IN DIMENSIONS. Viewty only uses 2.4 of its 3.0 screen on playback, compared to the full 2.8 screen of the new N95, so even the original N95 has a wider playback screen of 2.6 than the Viewty. Also, the call quality on the Viewty gets a little distorted and muffled at times, compared to the very clear audio of the N95. The new N95 lag time in loading files is between unnoticeable and tolerable, compared to the ridiculous lag time of the Viewty (usually 20 to 30 seconds).
The Viewty is a good phone, and I probably would've kept it if I never had the N95 prior, but sorry LG fans, it is not as great as the N95 as you guys want it to be.

i work at cpw and i think that the iphone is not as good at the veiwty my patner is getting the veiwty coz its the best phone out at the mo! i mean come off it its a 5.1 meg piks cam!!

It has been released here in Sweden for 4100-5500 swedish kronor and that is around 400-540 euros and 900-1100 dollars.Maybe it will come with 3 later but my question is.Is it worth it? I really want it but i have sell my other phone and stuff xD .I dont have any high income.
Is the divx quality good? :) Thx
