Quick question! can u make up ur own folders on this phone? lyk extra folders in the main imaging folder? and what format does it record sound in?

Hi guys ,

Does anyone know if viewty support tv-out feature?? because some says yes and other say is not supported,so can someone owns the phone clarified that. I try searching every where for the tv-out cable and no one sales them.

well a hard-reboot to the phone solves the problem i was having not able to change profile from headset to normal. so now the phone is working perfect. good engineering for a phone that is completely packed with every wannable features a mobile-phone freak would want.

how fast is the phone in browsing pictures and videos? is it like the SE phones?

Hi You can use a photo as a main screen wallpaper and with regards to the message tone there pretty ok not cheesy lol, but Im sure u can download some and set them as your message tone. Hope this helps , Im happy with this handset and I chose this over w960i.

hi there, i completly agree regarding the w960i. i have waited TOO long now. and have just started to consider this phone now.

couple of questions if someone could help me:

1)can you have your own background?? e.g. a picture that you have taken using the phone?
2)can you customise the tone when you recieve a text message (because on my samsung d900 you cannot which is highly annoying!!)

simple questions i know but im simple guy!

answer to n95,i just checking picture and videos taken from my viewty and previous n95 on laptop,lg beats nokia,better picture also videos,nokia took them in very poor quality and i don't say how is n95 camera performance slow ,n95 is realy big scrap,i sold it very soon,useless for daily using

its a good phone.. but how are you going to say that's better than iphone!!??!! just the camera but the iphone its alone!!!!!!

Bought this handset sim free and love it but I cant get the settings to allow me to use wap and web , So im sending it back and getting one thats locked on the 3 network, so then I can access maps , yahoo etc (:

what you have to remember is its LG not Nokia and its not going to be a n95 really is it ? also for ppl moaning about the camra ............. ok yes it advertises as a good camra at the end of the day it is a phone with a camra built into it !!

With people saying that the 6gb hcsd card works on their phone are they sure they have access to the 6gb or are they limited to the 1.8gb that you would get from a 2gb card as i seem to be having this problem.

LG started a promotion in my university and I was able to use the phone for 5 days now. At first, I was rather scaptical but by now I love this phone. I used all features a lot (especially the camera with integrated xenon flash) and the battery life is actually very convincing, taking into account that it lasted 4 days without charging.
The touchpad worked properly. Thumps up!

I've had this phone for two weeks now and I am both happy and sad with this phone. I'm happy because it looks great. It's easy to access its different functions and features using its touchscreen. Text messaging is also easy and fun.

I'm sad because I'm not able to send pictures through its SMS and email like I used to with my N95. Maybe I need to configure something, but I never had to with my N95. The screen is beautiful, but I have to wipe it a lot, pretty much every time I use the touchscreen. The picture quality is not as great as the N95 either. Also, yes it has a wider screen than my N95, but it turns out that on playback on videos taken and pictures, it only uses 2.4 of its 3.0 display, so the N95 would actually give you a larger playback view than this one. The resolution is not that great either compared to the N95. The saddest thing of all is that it takes 30 seconds to load pictures taken, or anything for that matter that involves loading of files from any libraries (pics, vids, all tracks, ringtones). I guess I wouldn't have all these disappointments if I never had an N95 before this phone. But unfortunately, I had, and I cannot help but compare and miss my N95 that I sold to my friend. This phone looks better than my N95. They both have pretty much the same features, but the N95 destroys this phone on performance. Oh and also, my N95 would display on the main screen my calendar and to-do events, my new Viewty does not, so I have to go to the calendar function to see if there's anything going on for today.

I'm considering selling this phone and getting an N95 8GB. Any takers? I'll sell it for $500.
