Ref. Keyboard and vibrate:
When you are in sms screen, look for 3 tabs on top of white space where you write message. So the first one is with kind of pen and Capital A on it, press that tab and choose keyboard out of 3 givven options.
To switch on/off keypress vibrate or adjust it's strenght, goto Settings,Profiles and on any highlited profile(whichever you want to choose or edit) press left bottom button(like a page),press edit and see if touch type is with 'vibrate' and bellow in menu under 'Touch vib volume' you can adjust vibrate strenght from 1 to 7.
Simple as that.

how do you activate the keyboard feature for smsing?!
my phone doesn't have that function!!!!!
and how do you turn on the vibrate function that vibrates every time you press a button?! please help me!!!!

I just got mine last night. I charged it all night and now the battery level is at 2 bars, perhaps I used it too heavily.
I never like Touch Screen phone, but this Viewty changed me. It is quite a joy to use this phone. The Fish theme is fun, and all the Googles Apps (Mail, Search, Maps) and YouTube are preinstalled. Although I prefer the Youtube from iPhone which is more nicely integrated.
The camera photo quality tend to be a bit on the soft side, need a bit of sharpening, otherwise the color are natural and its a joy to see the good quality photo.
Rington is quite loud, you will never miss a call. A2DP to a Sony Ericsson BT Headset works smoothly, but it tend to temporary disconnect/skip when you jerk the phone, but it will connect back quickly.
Phonebook at 500 is a bit little for me as I have close to 700 contacts that's because of business associate and overseas offices contact.
Voice call quality is not bad, but not as clear as Motorola or Sony Ericsson.
PC Suite syncing to Outlook 2003 (in Vista) run into a little problem but I managed to sort it out, and it works fine now.
Web Browser is good and able to render most pages correctly.
When place face down on the table, a lot of people ask me if that's a Camera or a phone ! LOL !!!
I like the Infra Red Light Assist when shooting, it feel very much like a real digital camera. Macro shot is not as good as Sony Ericsson, I think optimized length is more than 10cm, probably 13cm to 15cm.
The circular rim enclosing the lens is actually a jog dial, you can use it to zoom or scroll thru options. The Finger Scroll doesnt seem to work in some modules, esp in Music Player mode, it works fine scrolling though normal option though.
I like the Digital Clock in the main screen, you can drag the clock to anywhere on the Home Screen which is very cool, the fish theme is just as cool moving towards your finger as you touch the screen.
I'm still checking out this baby =)

is this coming out in the philippines any time soon? i'm only seeing the prada right now and i'm really craving for the viewty. this will be my n95's replacement when it's out

Does anyone know how to switch off the keypad noise everytime you touch it? i dont mind the vibration but the noise is driving me mad...the manual is completely useless!

well what can i say about this phone its got unlimeted memory wich is the best feature because u can store so much on this fone this fone is ten times betta den the nokia n95 and the sony ericsson k850i they have got no chance gainst this fone

i own this lg and g600 and previous n95, g600 takes the best picture,lg is in the middle between and n95 worst one,but lg is best in video recording viewty is dvd-like in fact not 95 ,it's probably avi format of recording

where ever you buy any phone, do not buy it from exoticphones.com . these guys are a scam. i bought a phone from them one time, and they said that it was in stock ony to send me a completely different phone in order to buy time to get the phone that i wanted in stock. so i called them and told them that they sent me the wrong phone. they said send the phone back on my dime and they will send me the phone that i ordered once they recevie the phone. no apology whatsoever. so i told that i wanted my refund back. i did not receive my refunds of $480 until six (6) months later and that was i had to go thru american express. of course the exoticphones told american express that they never received the item from me. okay, so i faxed amx the ups delivery notice to prove that exoticphones signed for the receiving item. amx made we additional 4 weeks on top of 6 months in order to let exoticphones make their reply, and they never replied to amx so amx did a back charge to their company.
save yourself grief and buy any phone elesewhere. or if you want to buy from them, then remember to keep all the paper work at least 6 months just in case they try to scam you.

Woo-I did exactly what you said to do-call t-mobile and ask for the LG Prada setting to set up T-zones and the MMS for the Viewty! And, I have to report back to say it worked halfway! T-zones work excellent but still don't don't have the MMS. So, if you or anyone can post the correct settings for MMS for T-Mobile USA it would be well appreciated!
For all those who have T-Mobile USA here's the setting for T-Zones-
Go to browser, then settings, then profiles, delete all the profiles that might have came with the phone, we're going to add a new one and this is how you do it! After doing all the above go to add new:
Service Name: T-Zones
Homepage: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
Connection mode: TCP with proxy
IP address: 216.155.165.050
Proxy server port: 8080
Security: Not secure
Access Point: T-Zones
There you go! Please if anyone out there has the T-Mobile USA setting for MMS please please post them!

Sms are supported with keyboard-that's for sure, but for some reason in organiser 'To Do' you cannot use it(where 'To Do' you can have 100 entries) and in 'Memo' you are free to use keyboard(you can have 5 'Memo' entries only).Doesn't make sense does it?
By the way, 'Memo' in menu has it's own icon, so it's actualy not in Organiser itself.
