The only drawback of this phone is the Platform LG chooses: LG's platform isn't as powerful as A200 or S40 from SE or nokia, and since it's touchscreen it should have OS, UIQ is more preferable since it doesn't eat battery life as fast as Windows mobile, and it doesn't require too fast CPU to run efficient, and of course UIQ menu themes are better than Windows :)

120fps in qvga eats as much space as 30fps in vga ;)
this really is a great phone
and the one who said this should be cheaper because it doesn`t have all the features of n95... remember it has a touchscreen and the n95 doesn`t.
this reminds me of the neonode phones...
hard choice but i think i would still choose n95

people are not annoyed but rather sceptical about the number "120". I mean if you have 10.1 megapixel camera, do you always take pics in the max resolution? it is up to the users whether they wanna fully use the functionality. HAVING FERRARI DOES NOT MEAN YOU GOTTA DRIVE LIKE A RACER ALL THE TIME.
DO SOME RESEARCH OR HAVE A LOOK AT dictionary to find out WHAT SLOW MOTION FUNTION IS.

No people are annoyed because even high grade TV quality broadcasts are 'only' at 25fps, yet this can do 120fps. Not to mention that the human eye can't tell anything higher than 60fps.
And slow mo has nothing to do with framerate. Slowmo is achieved in post processing.

What I don't get is the problem with the 120fps.
Let's say you had 1fps. It would be all choppy and when you move the camera from side to side it would blurand do that slow-mo look...but 120fps it wouldn't, so you could tell the difference.

And also, I have to add, that slow motion doesn't mean fps.
FPS means how many frames per second. So a movie with 10fps is very jerky because the frames update 10 times per second. If it is 30fps, the video will be smoother, because the frame updates 3 times faster, resulting in a smoother video and not a slower one as stated below.

Having 120fps is useless. No consumer is going to want to slow down all their footage. It's just a waste of space, and considering that TV shows are 25-27fps, even 30fps is very good.
Basically, having 120fps will only quadruple the memory space that it takes for the video.

It would be great it it had wlan/wifi. Everything else seems great about it. Can someone add an interactive video of the phone just like the LG KE850 Prada video.

FOR All You Misunderstanders!
firstly, thoes stupids who argue 120fps is a fake, let me say "you're fake". 120fps is slow motion funtion so has nothing to do with how many fps dvd,hd,etc supports.
secondly, indeed it is very like Prada phone ke850 and Prada was well aware of this new KU990 as well. but they had an idea that People who would buy prada phone would not be so interested in having the latest gadzet but rather having a right size,right weight phone and more importatly a phone with decent features that are "stable", not to mention sleek and stylish. and If prada wanted this phone instead of ke850, the price would still be "heaps". so LG and Prada chose what it best suits them as well as target markets.
It only has virtual keypads so just like KE850 LG-Prada phone.
This is slightly larger,heavier and obviously higher-spec'd than KE850 is but kinda like big brother.
hope this helps people understand and appreciate what this phone is all about.

It seems like most people here don't understand what 120fps means! Of course it is possible, true motion PAL is 24fps NTSC is 30fps. so if you take this into account 1 second of true motion = 30fps. so by having 120fps doesn't give you better quality, what it gives you is slow motion. so if 1sec=30fps 120fps=1 second of motion over 4 seconds, give slow motion effect!
I've actually played with the U990 and it's amazing. it also has haptic feedback so you feel the screen. it also has hand writing recognition and a QWERTY for text entry.
All in all this should be one of the best phones this year.

video at 30 frame/s not 120! it is a great Phone! if it had 8gb;)! can you insert micro sd hc 4gb?

Video at 120 fps is NOT possible. Standard DVD is 24 fps and even HD DVD is only 30 fps.

Shortly after the release of the Prada phone, LG then comes out with this, KU990. Looks, pretty much the same as the Prada but, everything else, is better. Way to go LG for messing over Prada phone like that. Ummm, lets release a phone with Prada with mid-advance features but selling the name, then few months later, release a phone of our own that looks JUST like the Prada phone, with waaay better features (ie, HSPDA, 5mp cam, etc...). That'll get more attention in the market. Then people who likes the Prada but cannot afford or who wants more features then they'll just get the KU990, thus, we don't have to shear the money we make!
ps: just a thought, may not be correct, but its interesting if you look at it that way.
