Well, I've had my Viewty for 4 days now and am very impressed with it. I keep on showing off with it and I'm sure everyone's sick to death of me! Anyway, I haven't read the manual or even used the phone to 30% of it's capabilities but I want to address a couple of minor issues...Firstly the sound volume when listening to MP3's throught the headphones - it's far too low for my liking and even on maximum I can hear people's conversations and the sound of traffic going by. The other thing is the home screen - it started off black with an analogue clock as selected but then after a couple of days changed itself to a menu screen with buttons for selecting messages, memo etc - today it changed itself back to the black screen so I am slightly confused. Apart from these small glitches - brilliant camera quality, touchscreen is easier to use than I thought and it's a really goodlooking phone. Over and out! Score: 9/10

This phone seems really interesting, and my d900 contract is about to run out so i might buy this. But a few important quesions:
1) On the UK model, is it possible to turn off the shutter sound
2)Is it possible to get games for it
3)Is there a headphone jack
4)Does anyone know in which UK contracts the You tube thing works

got mines yesterday from popularelect.com and I've been trying all night with t-mobiles techs to configure the Viewty with t-mobiles t-zones and mms, and nothing it's baffling t-mobile's techs and most of all me after spending all of the money. Can do text-though. I remember I had the same problem with my k800 but didn't keep it long enough to really see if it would work.
So, please if anyone here from the US know how to configured our Viewty to start browsing the web and sending pic mail, please let us know! Thanks

Does anybody know why is that everytime I try to convert divx file from the software it always says "error occured" at 7%, can anybody help me on this??

Hi
I was wondering if this phone can take HCSD cards (6 or 8GB)? I read a review where someone said (on this site) that it can take a 6GB, but I was wondering if this could be confirmed.
If not, is it likely to be changed so it can take these cards, with a firmware update or something?

can someone test the divx video codec if it can play online video via browser like www.stage6.com ? how about playing www.youtube.com video from browser.. i dont like the m.youtube.com because its only selected videos..

Jus thought i'd add to my earleir opinion. I've yesed the phone some more and hit more barriers. 300 message email mailbox limit (total, not per mailbox). Definitely can't use the onscreen keyboard with the webbrowser (on my O2 phone), and not with Opera Mini 4. My contacts did not come across complete alot are missing information (e.g. 2 addresses, 4 numbers and 3 emails the addresses are cut off). Mines going back tomorrow. If you want to use this phone even as a limited PIM then forget it, only good as a media viewer/pure phone functions. Shame i was really looking forward to this and there are no other phones i want...

Regarding the shutter noise when taking a picture somebody has said that its illegal to take a photo without the persons permission so it cant be switched off,so why isnt there a red light on when using video so people know that your recording them surely thats also illegal too?it flashes red when taking a picture.

Hi , got this phone other day from 02 and very impressed with it ! Ive had a LG before but always used nokia and sony but when i saw this one i thought i give it a go . I put my t-mobile sim card in it (worked no problems) but wanted to know how to get the o2 sign off on the home page , can anyone help ?? thanks

i called popularelect.com nd got my tracking number my order also said processing but they shipped it out they gave me 100% they need but ya i got the tracking number soo its all good
