don't know if there's an appz that allow u to send the pics from the mobile to the pc.. there are some unofficial appz like MYMobile but i don't know if its compatible with L342i. Anyway i use to send my pics via Mail from the mobile to the pc..here in italy every mail costs 1€cent/kb it's not so expensive.

Hi,
I have the cable, I have the software from the Italian site, but all it does is synchronise calendar and email, etc.
Has anyone ever got photos off this phone using a cable?

Hi there, i have downloaded soft from http://it.wowlg.com/it/phones/...h_name=L342i but i cant take the photos from this phone. I was trying to use 'Contents Bank' from earlier versions of this LG phone and it still doenst work.. plz mail me and if i do something wrong or dont do this what i should or whatever - just mail,.. thx 4 reading.. So i need Contents Bank for L342i to download the photos. cYa =]

Hello! I just bought LG L342i and i like it a lot, thought i have a problem.
I want to have the alert but it doesn't work when the cell is closed. What can i do?

After several weeks of use, the LG L342i is not the good handset I was excpected. It go back tu support service after two weeks : software locked when I switch on the phone.
A few annoying bugs :
You cant extract pictures from the cellphone with a serial data cable : the LG software crash with an error if you try. There is a bug in the serial protocol of the cellphone.
When you siwtch on the phone, there is a long delay (about a minute) before you can use it. If you want to got the SMS message box, you get a "please wait" error message.
Sometime, the handset ask me the pin code by itself.
Sometime, the handset loose the GSM signal when i'm not moving. I have to switch off and on the phone.

I also have the charging problem. My L342i cannot be charged while be switched off. However, the charging is working after I switch the handset on.

i cant seem to recharge my mobile anymore, the red light shows and nothing happens. the light use to turn green straight away but not now. any one have any suggestions as to why or what i should do please mail me, THANKS

I got a better question! what if i change the firwire of the L342i into a 3300 or 3310 with wap and "normal" java. will that work?? anyone did that??? just asking... it is unusable with i-mode!!!! thanx

does the C3300, 3310, 3320 software works on this particular phone coz i don't find any software for it across europe or americas. i'm from Europe!!! No i-mode here!!! need answer quick... and some doja games free og course wgere might i find them??? If not, np!!! Thanx...
