Had phone for about a week, went dead, took out battery and resterted but will not function correctly, keeps "searching!!!!!!

i do not own the l342i, but i am looking for a new phone, i was trying to decide between this and the nokia 3230, i hav decided on the nokia because i have always found them reliable, and it has all the features i need inc. bluetooth. the L342i seems to be a good phone, but i have a moterola at the moment and it gives me nothing but trouble, im going with the safer option.

To display a picture with a phone number select the camera. Normally the resolution is 160 x 120. turn that one down so it is 48 x 48. Above the picture is text saying "phonebook". Take a picture of anyone and save it. Then go to your organiser - telephonebook and you can put the photo with the number.

I haven't got the LG L342i yet..
but i am going to buy it this evening with a good deal... if i take a contract for 2 years.. (30 euro's a month) and i'll get a tv with it... A SamSung !! you got to see it...
it's the Samsung WS 28 m 206..
so.. ill get that change at the mediamarkt shop :D

I bought my LG L342i mobile yesterday and I can't match a photo and a ringtone with a specifique number in order to display my husband's photo when he calls me!Does anyone know how can i get it?

I bought this phone for my wife a few days ago...
To get more ringtones for free without a cable :
1 - copy your ringtones files to your website,
2 - use the internal browser to download them into the phone
This phone seems to support only midi files, not smaf (.MMF) or mp3.
You can setup different ringtones for different contacts using the "Group" feature : affect up to 20 contacts to 1 group (7 groups available) and select 1 ringtone for that group.

I bought the phone today. Does anyone know how to get more ringtones on it other than the standard ones that are already on the phone. I don't want to pay or join some club to get them. Also, can I dedicate a different ring to specific phone numbers.I need help!

Today I bought a LG L342i mobile. It appears only to have 2 ringtones on it. I am using a prepaid Sim (Telstra) and I also want to get Crazy Frog on it. Does anyone know how to do this please.

yes mms help would be good. does it say it in the instruction book- even if it did, that wouldnt help me. i lost it.. if any1 knows how to work mms thingy please email me.. thanks a bunch
