I've had my nexus 4 for over 4 months now and can say i'm more than thrilled with its performance. been a big fan of nexus since 1 but was a bit reserved about battery life ion the new 4 since the newer the phones got the worse the battery life was. how ever my Nexus 4 was a pleasant surprise. i use it mostly for exchange email, talk and occasional browsing on a busy day with a ton of calls the battery will last from 8am well through the night ( on a few occasions until 2 am) on a regular day and if i shut it off over night battery will last me until the end of day two. I've noticed that when i browse the net or use viber for calls the phone heats up and battery use is greater but this is only on this device. i had one before this one and spilled water on it so this is basically my second phone in 6 months. myt first phone never had the heating issue.
over all amazing battery life for all

> In reply to addy25 @ 2013-06-08 07:55 from utvG - click to readThe S4 play store edition does not lag. I know what you mean by S4 lags but you see that is just the touchwiz and the bloatware. Apps don't freeze so much on the S4.

I have this phone two weeks ago‚ it seems marvelous in everything‚ most thing I like in is its design‚ but I have an issue since I have bought it it gave me an option to update it to 4.3 but I don't do that then this option is disappeared and when I try to find my latest android version they gave me it is only 4.2.2, so how can I fix this issue thanks alot

This is a great phone for the price. You will not find a phone with these specs at this price. It is particularly good for gaming and processor intensive activities. These are the negatives.
1. Battery backup is a bit bad.
2. No expandable memory (Understandable since they fitted so much into it (wireless charging included)
3 No FM Radio
4. No 4g though it can give high speeds in certain bands (Not applicable everywhere)
5. The back cover is made of glass and mine shattered within 24 hours of getting it. It was not even a drop. I literally placed it on a hard surface at an angle. This is a design defect I think. It is as fragile as a soggy biscuit.
LCD is a little reflective/dim in sunlight.

On the positive side it runs the latest version of android and gets the early updates. The interface is simple and touch response is very smooth (Project Butter)
It is fast and a performance beast.
The vanilla android experience without bloatware makes it a pleasure. After having used HTC Sense and Touchwiz I actually have come to prefer the vanilla experience. Games run very smoothly and it is a super phone to use.
Easy to root and unroot. Very good for developers
The Camera is brilliant!!!

All in All Google and LG have done a great job with the phone. They should rethink the glass back for the Nexus 5 which is rumored to be an LG

> In reply to gra3vis @ 2013-08-15 19:42 from 0xWg - click to readThe battery is fine. No problem after navigating about 2 hrs and that's a battery eater, still 54% left with satellite image. When playing music for 1.5 hrs battery at 91% (not bad I would say) Both times WiFi on and 3,5G receipt.
As for 4.3 improved the battery life on both Galaxy and Nexus 4.
Been a Nexus user since the G1, this one can last it's 15 hrs without a charge.

battery life is better, camera is different from the Nexus but has very nice options. Enjoy my Nexus, like all before G1 up to Galaxy. But for sure E975 is a ... great phone.
With a theme you can turn in to a Nexus. Did that became a great experience. If choosing optimus g.
Still at present use the Nexus and loving it
