Mark, 24 Nov 2013For the Nexus 4 users in the philippines, did some of you get the OTA update now? because till... moreJust look for Google Services Framework and then Clear Data, immediately check for update right after. If it still says uptodate just repeat the process. Had to do that about 3 times before i received the kitkat goodness. Got mine updated last friday here in the Philippines. Dont forget to install google launcher if you havent yet.
Suck android kitkat 4.4 for nexus 4 because OS they need 3rd party to make screen full display..nexus 5 and nexus 4 has the same pure google device but why defferent treatment..go to galaxy again sory Nexus.
For those who haven't recieved the kitkat update notification.
Go to settings > apps > all > google services framework > clear data > force stop.
Then try to check from system update. I hope you will get the notification and the update will be ready for you. I have tried this myself and there are no bugs present in it.
Taz26, 24 Nov 2013Discovered a bug on 4.4, when u swipe the apps to close it... It still appears on the tab menu...I have updated to kitkat and i have not seen any bugs in it. It works perfectly..

For the Nexus 4 users in the philippines, did some of you get the OTA update now? because till now i still don't have an update of 4.4 and whenever i go to system update nothing appears on the screen.
Truly, I traded my SIII for this masterpiece and until now i'm drooling on how good his system is - it upgraded to KiKat 4.4 this week and improved an already great experience. The sensibility of the touch screen is on par with the Iphones and the system is more blazing fas than ever!
Can't wait to get my Nexus 5 (I'll miss U, glass covered back!)
how is the battery life of nexus 4 .. please give feed back soon i want to buy it
rohith, 21 Nov 2013am n a confusion..plz help me out users....nexus4/iphone 4sIs it a price issue or would you like to know which is the better phone.
In case of the phone, go for the Nexus 4. Less chance of having memory issues. Yes I know iPhone lovers will say different. A friend of mine has the older 4S and faces lack of memory. The Nexus with 16GB doesn't have the problem.
Android 4.4 KitKat running on my Nexus 4 since yesterday 22.00. Look and feel are great.
I got the 4.4 update. I had a weak WiFi connection. Then I reset phone.
And now it is showing me up to data message on 4.3.
Anybody faced this problem.

Good Product ..... Horrible company .... Avoid buying ........
India thinks of it as a third party product and no adequate service is
available in India. I broke the display and to get a new display panel
you have to wait for at least 15 days to 1 month. Service center people
don't even respond to you if you inquire for Nexus 4.
I did a
horrible mistake buying an LG product. No matter what a great product
it might be but without proper service it is as good as any Chinese
Now, I realize why Apple, Samsung charge a little more.
It is for their after sale service which is too good. As far as LG is
concerned it is far away down the list even below Micromax and Lava.
What kind of company can sale products in the market with logo of "Google" without availability of service. The answer is LG.
Now my aim is to get it repaired and get rid of it forever :(

Feroz , 20 Nov 2013Dear Users, now iam using Lumia 720, now i want to change my phone. Kindly share which is bette... moreDepends on what you're after. Are you committed to Windows? Obviously if you like Windows OS and would rather stick with it, or if you're a photography buff, then better simply upgrade your Lumia.
As for higher end Xperias vs Nexus 4 and 5 they have similar performance (all are blazingly fast) and while the Xperia has a better camera (Nexus have decent cameras but these have comparatively few features), it's not as good as the higher-end Lumias'.
Now comes the massive advantages of the Nexuses (Nexi?): price and OS. In the US, Canada, EU and certain other countries Nexus phones are subsidized by Google and sell for about half their market value. Also, Nexus phones are always the first to get the latest versions of Android, keeping them a step ahead. These features make Sony (and several others) poor competitors as they do not offer outstanding features to make it worth paying more. Nokia on the other hand, has Windows and a great camera, which some people may prefer.
Quality-wise we are talking about high-end phones so they are all carefully built, But of notice about the Nexus 4: 1) it is the most beautiful of the bunch, heck it is one of the most elegant phones ever designed (strangely enough pictures and videos of it never look like the real thing) but 2) it is also one of the most fragile so if you buy it you must resist the temptation to show it off and bury it inside a sturdy case. Either that or break it and face a hefty repair bill. It happened to me and I ended up buying a new Nexus 4 rather than repair. Still best smartphone I ever used and I used a lot from iPhone to Blackberry to Android units. Never used Windows phone yet tho.

abc, 20 Nov 2013on downloading any app from play store its taking too much time and also not showing the downl... moreSuch a problem has little to do with the phone itself. If you're using Wifi make sure you are close enough to the gateway(router or wireless modem) because as long as Wifi is on the phone will keep on attempting to use it and a weak signal makes any phone sluggish. Upstream, your ISP abe experiencing network issues. The easiest -but costliest- way to ensure fast transfers is to set the device to mobile data.
