Launcher remains the same for nexus 4, things remain same as UI perspective. The phones are even smoother. Nexus 5 launcher has tighter google now integration. Pressing home button will take you on middle screen in nexus 4 even if you are on 4.4 that's not case with nexus 5 it takes you to second screen immediate after google now. These are visual changes mostly. Icons in the status bar are changed with respect to colors and their behaviour. No more arrow Indicator directly on status bar showing connectivity its moved in notification bar.
