Just got with 4G Sim with Airtel india. Just getting E and H symbols with network connectivity ie 2G and 3G, is it means no 4G with Nexus 5 yet with Airtel India?
I hope you enjoy your zenfone 2 then lol. I've had my nexus 5 since March 2014 and no cracks in the screen.. A few hairline scratches but no cracks! And I've dropped it a couple of times too... But that's what protective cases are for... So while you are enjoying your zenfone I will be looking at getting the new LG nexus later this year.
I have been using it for well over 6 months now and all i can say is that i love this phone. it serves very well. Android 5.1.1 fixed buggs and extended battery life. Preformance is just excellent. I love it and i recommend it!
This phone has a faulty design, in my opinion.
The display breaks far too easily, likely because the phone is too flimsy and bends. The glass remains intact, but hairline cracks tend to appear in the display after a few months of normal use, rendering the phones display inoperable and requiring a very expensive repair (as the display is fused to the entire front half of the phone).
I had an iphone 3 for 7 years, and it's still my backup phone. 6 months into the Nexus 5 I had to replace the screen for nearly $200. 3 months after that the screen broke again, on a rainy Sunday when it spent literally the entire day on my desk. Somehow on the trip from my desk to my nightstand that night the display cracked. The phone was handled gently, and has been subject to the same day-to-day treatment that the iPhone handled problem free for all those years.
I will never buy another LG phone. And, rather than spent another $200 on a display that will only last 3-6 months, I will be replacing it with a zenfone2.
I've had this phone for about 18 months. Although it's a good phone I wouldn't recommend it to people.
Reason being I've had the power button issue for the past 1 month.LG service centre says, its mother board issue + power button issue and its 2.5k rs. I've also know many people that had the same issue either in or out of warranty. That means it's a phone issue witch is preposterous for a phone by titans like LG & Google while they deny a fix for it. Never expected this from Google devices. better buy like samsung or motorola or apple.which doesnt hv any problems for hardware.
Very good phone with excellent features provided by android lollipop.
Good phone. Fast and lag free. Biggest problem is short battery life. Not sure is it just with mine. Had Nexus 4 before and it's better was noticeable better.
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2015Any body with 4G Airtel? is it working well with Nexus 5YES 4G work fine in NEXUS 5 i am chennai airtel not lighting fast but fast when compared to 3G
Anonymous, 27 Jun 2015Yes working 25 mbpsBut airtel says 4G with band 40 ie 2300 which is not with nexus 5. If so which model u have D820 or D821 ?
Your(Google) this new software is just a crap. No more useful than a bin full of waste. Phone reboots atleast 10-15 times a day, then is the turn of optimising the apps!!!wtf!! Loosing my battery in just a click with my phone switching on and off and on and so on. Google's loosing its glory. Will never gonna go for a play store device. Such a shit. If I can give you a negative rating, I ll rate you infinite times negative. Bullshit. Really disappointed.
Only problem is voice it is very low specially on speaker mode otherwise phone is awesome

AnonD-410035, 25 Jun 2015I've had this phone for about 18 months. Although it's a good phone I wouldn't recommend it to... moreIt's a common problem in Nexus 5, even I too had it. But the good thing was I got it resolved at local service center for just Rs. 750 (they replaced inner part of power button) and now the device is flawless. And coming to battery, being a high performing smart phone yes it consumes much battery but follow some battery saving tips (search in internet) u may conserve battery.
Bottom line is though it was released way back in 2013, it is still an outstanding phone compared to many latest flagship devices. I love Nexus 5.
smgs, 24 Jun 2015I am on android M. Could someone give tips? Just purchased this mobile, used one, One year ol... moreShould not take more than 2 hr..and around 1.5 hr if you use the same charger supplied in the box. Still if you face the problem may be there is something wrong with the device or may be the charger has fault. Try charging with some different charger to see how long it takes.

I've had this phone for about 18 months. Although it's a good phone I wouldn't recommend it to people.
Reason being I've had the power button bootlooping issue for the past 5 months (just out of warranty) and it can't get fixed by most repair centers except SBE, the one LG recommends, which has the worst reviews apparently. I've also know many people that had the same issue either in or out of warranty. That means it's a phone issue witch is preposterous for a phone by titans like LG & Google while they deny a fix for it.
Also the battery doesn't last at all, especially with Lollipop.
VinNexus5, 23 Jun 2015Hey,earlier i was using lollipop as it was horrible OS, i again downgraded to kitkat 4.4.4 ,it... moreReinstall the ROM
