Himanshu Mehra, 01 Jan 2015Should I Buy It Or Not ?It's almost like my HTC One at half the price. Battery doesn't last long due to it's smaller capacity but that also means the recharging is fast. Beautiful camera, fast processor, superb screen - gamer's paradise. Enough said!
All who have migrated to 5.0.1 and getting bad battery life, give a factory reset. I have flashed it and installed fresh 5.0.1 and the default tricks to save battery like, GPS, WiFi, Location etc and getting 2 days backup with average use. 2 day battery backup for an android is quite good I think.
It's camera is awesome, I have snapped some shots just unbelievable.
In my case only problems are low sound, takes longer to charge till now.
AKJ, 30 Dec 2014Hi Guys...I recently updated my N5 to 5.0.1 and since then I have been facing the battery drai... moreJust give a factory reset and install the 5.0.1 again, follow some tricks regarding GPS, WiFi etc., you will find many tricks easyly in google. Hard reset will improve battery. I am getting 2 days for average use.
Great improvement on the sound quality on music player but there's an annoying sound interference I don't know why. Drains battery fast on 3g H+.
Srk1, 31 Dec 2014ota stopped rolling out? when and why?@ Srk1
This is probably why:
Lollipop is a pile of s***, be grateful if you are still on KK
I have my Nexus 5 last night but when my phone reached 100%, it easily drains the bttery while I'm checking Internet. My phone runs Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. The battery said it only takes 1 hour and 30 minutes of non-stop used. I didn't notice that there is an issue of the phone. Now I disabled Google Fit, then I rebooted after my phone died at less than 10%, then rebooted but the battery life was now 5%, then I turned it off and then reboot again. After that, my phone got only 2%. I charged my phone and it's faster. I also deleted Google+ and Photos.
For all of u,The phone isnt buggy or laggy, u need to download 5.0 factory image from google site cuz ota stopped rolling out and its so easy to install just download Slim sdk and factory image and run flash-all file from bootloader with usb debugging enabled ( go to options , go to about phone , tap build number about 7 times and go back and ull see developers options and enable it ) and youre done just wait to boot and u have 5.0.I have this phone for 6 months and i havent expirienced any issues with battery , camera is good but 8mp limits it , and android 5.0 is the best os for a mobile phone .

Hi Guys...I recently updated my N5 to 5.0.1 and since then I have been facing the battery draining relatively fast issue. I tried wiping and clearing cache but in vain. Also tried to factory rest but does not work. Can anyone please help me on resolving this issue, thanks in advance!!!
Useless phone, overheats cant open 50% of the apps.
Have only used it for half a year before problems started showing up, (e.g. static image screens during use.)
Would never buy something from Google again.
