atul45, 18 May 2011Hey guys can sum one tell me which one out of these phones are better in terms of battery life... morethe optimus 2x is definitely the one to go with if you're running on a budget. if you can spend few thousand rupees extra then samsung s2 if your best choice. if you're totally financially stable then nothing beats an Apple iPhone. im an android user as well as an iPhone user so i know the difference. iPhones are always 2 steps ahead of all these cell phone companies n thus they are expensive. the type of games n apps these dual core processors are providing nowadays was easily handled by any iPhones from the very beginning without the need of dual cores so yea. the other phones are also good but when it comes to specifications, smoothness, graphics and speed, iPhone beats them all but yes you gotta pay a price for all these luxuries.

I just want to raise this issue that I have been facing for a couple of weeks now. I got my LG-P990 Lg optimus 2x at starXXX last March 26 2011 and when I got home I tried charging the unit and at the same time using it. I noticed that the phone has turn off while I was charging it. I tried turning it on but it seems the phone is not responding, so I tried to remove the battery and try again and it worked.
I have reported this inncident to starthub and they advised me to call LG because you are the one in charge of the warranty for this phone. So I also called your customer service. They advised me to go the service center and bring my phone.
In the service center "Tampines to be exact" the Lg employee asked me what is the problem with my unit. So I told them that the unit turned-off while charging and I was unable to turn it on without removing the battery and putting it back again. They got my unit to be serviced, Service Receipt No. : RNA11033008XXXX.I closely monitored the status of my unit, I called the customer service many times to check for the status of the phone and even monitored it using the internet. Last Monday "April 4 2011" the customer service advised me that my unit is ready for pick up at NEX serangoon mall. So I left my office early just to get my phone. And when I arrived at home and tried using the phone and charging it again, it happened again. The phone turned off.
Again I also reported it to starhub and LG to help me on this matter but I got the same response, StarXXX told me to call LG and they will be the one in-charge of this matter. And when I called LG they told me that I should give my phone to the nearest service center for them to check the phone.
I told them the they had the phone for almost a week and they didn't encounter my complain. I had it for almost only for 4 hours and I already saw it, the phone turned off again. Did they even check the phone?
So after many calls to the customer service regarding my complain, on that week they picked up the phone last April 8 2011 here at my office to have it checked again. And then after many calls again for follow up, the LG guy advised me that they will be replacing my unit with a new one and delivered my new unit last April 15 2011. I was happy and relieved that I can finally use my phone and expected that it will work 100% because after all the trouble that I went through, they will make sure that the unit will work.
But to my disppointment, just after a day with no issues with my phone, I encountered the same problem again last April 17 3:48 PM and I even reported this issue to the LG guy that gave me my new phone (985-188-65). He told me to monitor the unit and check if it will happen again.
So I complied, I reported that the issue happened again at the same day at 10:28 PM. I also advised the LG guy if he can talk to your office and just give me my money back for this defective unit.
I also called the customer service today, to tell them about my issue and that I want to have my money back for my unit and they advised me to prepare this email for it to be processed and that someone will call me regarding my plea.And again the phone just turned-off 1:08 PM today, while I was preparing this email.
I know that it is an existing issue in this unit, so even if you issue me a new one I am sure that I will encountere the same defect. So please give me my money back or coordinate with starXXX to give me a new phone that is not made by LG.
I am using thos phone last 2 weeks. Very gooddddddddddddd... I am fully satisfied with this Phone. Great Job by LG..
My 2nd android. Had it for a month now. All in all, very satisfied. It's super fast in everything it does. Have had no reboots etc like other reviewers claim. Very stable. True multi tasking! Can only recommend it. Location Hungary.

I'm very disappointed with this phone. It rebooted several times. It froze up completely several times and I had to remove the battery to fix it. It fails to connect to WIFI connections and has to be restarted for it to work again. And finally last week it wouldn't even start so now I have sent it for repair. Have had the phone for maybe 5 weeks. So basically this phone sucks. I'm going to sell it when comes back and instead buy SGS2.
Its an unbeatable phone,hdmi,greaat gaming,good touch sensitivity,great memeory,great speed too.

hi this phone has serious problems, i had to take out the sd card because it keeps restarting , and it doesnt recognize it.they told me to make a full format to the card but still the same thing.i contacted the lg customer care but they told to do a hard reset and that the problem will be fixed ...so far nothing.any advice????thank you
i got somedays before the optimus 2x , i m quite disappointed with it.i had put inside a micro sd 8 giga from my older phone , it started to reboot constantly...when i try to charge it and its on its switching off by itself.from the store i got it they told me i had to format the sd card, i did, lost all my beautiful pics and the result is zero....it keeps on rebooting and when i try to use internet by 3g or wifi it freezes up , and all buttons turned on .....I now contacted the lg service center , i hope they will fix it or they will replace it.what s your opinion guys> i heard that the only way to stop the problems is to charge by usb and not by the charger.thanks
J, 13 May 2011Bit disappointed with this phone. I've had three of them. First wouldn't charge properly, Se... morehello J, I had 5 optimus 2x all of them with hardware/software problems. I quit of buying lg now I mean I gave 5 chances to lg and not satisfied. Im now with a poor nokia.
Great phone i love it. It's way better than any outspoken iPhone or HTC. Extremely useful and easy to use.
