Updated to jelly bean through the computer(lg pc suite),phone is working as usual.battery life has improved though quite abit,speaker volume is still low,dissapointed that they dint do something about it

if your experiencing slow charging. check first if your temp is normal. charging after gaming for a long time heats up and will activate slow charging to prevent damage to the battery due to excesive heat. but if your just idle and not doing anything, try this:
-go to settings then usb connection type
-select charge only
-then plug wall charger, if slow charging icon appear clear the status
-remove charger
-select Media Sync (MTP)
-Plug charger
it will now charge fast. This is a work around i tried safely without changing in the service mode.
note: it will slow charge after using your cell browsing using wifi or playing games for 15mins or more. heat = slow charging will activate.

theres a way to update your phone manualy by downloading the correct firmwate (v10h) and faking the LG server from the pc firmware update tool but im not sure if you feel comfortable with it or if its completely safe.
google ''lg 4x hd xda'' and you will get to the rigth forum on xda and you should find the firmware update guides there.

Hi. Does anybody meet the problem when phone show charging even then a cable is unplugged? And phone not charge the battery when cable connected but steel show charging?

I wanna change my firmware, but I can't update through Wi.fi, says I have the "latest software version in current OS version" and prompts me to do a OS update on the computer... Will I have to root my phone?
I'm completely dumb when it comes to technology, I'm pretty sure I'll mess things up...

The 20b is jb. 466-92 are country and region as found in APN settings mmc-466, mnc-92. These are for Taiwan.
I think that whatever sw version you have the 466-92 locks you into Taiwan time by default.
Thanks piano for info on app to control cores. I checked it out,but don't think I will try it. I may not need 4cores but if I can keep phone from battery drain over night, I get 2-3days on a charge. (if it is not broke don't fix it) my 4x surprises me every day!great phone!

ive never heard of these issues on v10 so wondering is this is a jelly bean issue (v20xx)

As it was changing from Vibrate to Sound when making calls, I set to Vibrate and called me from my other phone. it didn't change to Sound.
As I was leaving Class, changed back to Sound mannually. When tried to make a call, it turned to Vibrate.
To try to at least mantain it on Sound, I put it on Sound and called from the other phone again. now, when I make calls it stays on (or goes back to) Sound.
any ideas? Anyone else?

i think that this phone can du more on performance and i think lg knows this . maybe there afraid that overbody would buy this phone and not the current flagship which is 200 euros more expensive .

Hope someone can help me with my 3 issues:
1: Whenever the phone is turned off/on, the timezone changes to Taipei and I have to go to Settings to change. It doesn't matter if I use Automatic or not Tize/time zone. --> Looks like from what I managed to research that it's my firmware (if not mistaken. might be software or something like this, but almost sure it's firmware) version. If I update throug WI-FI will I only update the firmware or also the OS? Is this reversible (I know we can downgrade the OS, not sure the Firmware) (I read somewhere that WI-fi only updated something and the OS would have to be through pc connection [or the opposite], don't wanna do something wrong and end up with JB)
2: After some time being on (I avoid turning the phone off to charge or when not in prolonged due to the first issue), whenever I make a call it automatically changes my Sound profile (Sometimes to Vibrate, sometimes to Sound, never seem it turn into Silent), I can put it manually back to my necessary profile (apparently it decided that when in class I need it to be changing for Sound and while at home, changing to Vibrate), but whenever a new call is made, it changes again. I can solve this by turning the phone off/on, but it's a pain... Tried to search, didn't find anything similar. I don't use those NFC cards. The profile doesn't change when receiving calls, only when making them. (and this looks like solved the issue for now!)
3. For some reason, the option to turn off backgroud syncing disappeared from "Account and Sync", even though there's mention to it in "Power saver Tips". Where might it have gone? I'd like to leave it on only when using something that needs it!
