> In reply to Annonymous @ 2013-02-18 10:11 from KgtS - click to readyou can easely use it but if your phones heats on on akype id contact them as that app shouldnt use more then 1x 1500 mhz so its sucking way to much power.
so once more the blame is with the app not the phone.
the phone doesnt heat while watching full hd movies even and even if it does its no problem its normal NORMAL I SAY.

and the speaker is just great its stupidly loud and clear if this isnt good enough for you buy some portable speakers as your starting to become deaf :)

For heating issues:
Install LG Gearbox (or SetCPU- whatever app which gives you control over the cpu clockspeed & over the cores) and downclock it to 1 GHZ instead of 1.5 GHZ (I didn't shut down any cores- all four of them were functional).

I found that the O4X runs cooler than before. Downclocking to 1 GHZ didn't seem to affect the overall performance- even in gaming.
The only game that lags for me is GTA3- but I think that it's because I'm playing an older version.

1 . Heating issues - Cannot use skype or any voip software for more than 10 minutes. 2. Poor speaker compared to other high end phones.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-17 16:32 from p2bm - click to readwel i just went illigal and pirated the game for you to test it out and my conclusion is that its not supersmooth but it seems a little glitchy.
some parts are real smooth some parts it hangs a second.

the version i tested was 1.1.2

i guess the defs have some work left on this game for sure.
if they dont fix it fast id demand a refund as suggested earlyer.

> In reply to dvem @ 2013-02-18 01:24 from gxF@ - click to readno the problem is either to many crap running on the background and/or to many cached apps or the gaker of the game.

its so easy to blame the tegra chipset while its up to the defs to make it work.
its a payed game and a far from cheap one therefore defs need to make it word if its truely not working.
i dont own it so i cant test but it either works and your phone is messed up or it doesnt and the fevs need to give you your money back because they failed at making a proper app.

> In reply to whatthefuk @ 2013-02-16 18:36 from nQEd - click to readlast week i put a rose in my pocket and my lg killed the rose it was completely crushed.

just joking hehe i have no clue why people are so careless with there products clearly parents dont teach the value of money anymore.
a phone is a verry delicate device and needs to be treated with care.
if people dont do not come crying here that lg broke your phone because you managed to break gorilla glass in your pants.
its there own fault after all.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-16 03:10 from Kg$v - click to readyour simply expecting the impossible.
and yes the razr maxx is the ONLY thone on the market that can do that at this point without using a 3rd party battery and making your phone fat and incompattible with all covers.

you really expect 3 hours of video 2 hours of browsing 30 min watching text documents 30 minutes callling and if that 6 hours isnt already silly you want to play games ad listen to music on top of that ?

that simply is NOT an option.
you should consider 4 hours without gaming or wrongly coded apps all the use time you get and thats with the screen on less then 40% brightness

and you want no lag but it doesntmater how much lag there is?
these 2 things are married together.
if you have lag your phone will be smooth.
if your phone is smooth that meens there is no lag.

and this phone mits used correctly us as smooth as it gets.

Please help me choose between LG Optimus 4X and Sony Xperia TX.

What I'm looking for in these phones are:
1. longer battery life for average usage. This is how i use my phone per day
- moderate call & text
- for watching at least 1 to 2 movies a day
- about 1 to 2 hours of internet on wifi
- viewing/reading a lot of pdf or j.peg files
- if i have time maybe play little games or play music

2. it doesn't matter how smooth the phone is but at least there should be no/less lag.

Thanks.
