I bought this phone because it says it runs on 3g HSDPA 900/1700/2100, and when I put in my SIM card (HSDPA 1700/2100) it only shows 3g HSDPA 900/1900/2100 and 2g. So if anyone could help me with this problem and help me make this phone work for me that would be great.

Please please do not upgrade to ICS update from LG!

Its a whole lot of s**t. The ICS is nice ,but the battery is draining very fast.You have to charge thrice in a day.

I went to LG customer care and i revert back to GB,now battery is performing good.

I have no problems with hardkeys whatsoever,but have a lagging prob while playing games, i dnt knw if its bcz i have the intrnl memory almost to full,but overall a great handset

But, ok, it's not a serious issue, the problem is that my hard keys don't work after the official update :(

I will never buy a LG ! That's for sure !!!

I keep my smartphone very clean. I have the default applications...

I have no lag or delay or whatsoever...

I have 800 MB free on my internal storage and 16 GB on my MicroSD Card... So space shouldn't be a problem...

My RAM has 150 MB free space... So this isn't a problem, too...
I wrote a post on xda developers, nobody even answered me, but I found a guy with the same problem as mine (so I'm not alone ith this)

Today I called LG Support and they requested a huge price for a reperation (almost half of the value of the phone itself !!! thieves !!! )

The hard keys still don't work / work very hard ( I must push push push many times until they work, sometimes not even them..)

Well, I'm kinda desperate...

I did many Factory Resets, not working...

I was thinking at a Hard Reset... How to do that?

Guys... Anybody has problems with signal reception, network regestration & poor sound quality??
I have this phone for 14 months now, & i luv it except for these issues i'm facing... Plz help me out here

I m using it from last 15 months. Its a cool phone, best fit in hands. I m satisfy with it bcoz i bought it in 12K. Rest it has drawbacks too... its quiet slow. u have to lil patient to use it. I do it restart everyday in morning.. then it run fine.
I like it but not recommend to buy it if you like performance.

I purchased this phone through Wal-Mart's StrightTalk plan. Overall I like it. A good, inexpensive alternative to the more expensive phones out there. The money you save with prepaid makes up for the discount you'd get for signing a two year contract with one of the big carriers on the Galaxy 4 or something similar. I pay about half of what they charge per month for unlimited data. The phone's performance isn't bad either. Obviously the battery life could be a little better, but for the price it gets the job done.

I had Android 2.3.4. I saw on LG's site that I can upgrade to their official Android 4.0.4. I just installed LG Support Tool and click, next, click, next, very easy setup... In 10 minutes, I had Android 4.0.4 ICS on my LG P970 - pretty impressive :) Everything was working sweet, except my hard keys / hardware buttons which were / are very unresponsive... Later I've read that ICS doesn't support anymore hard keys / hardware buttons... But LG forgot to tell me that :) And this is their official ICS, no custom ROM which could brick my phone... Ok, I've said... Let's try to install Button Saviour - but, oh, wait, it doesn't work because my mobile phone isn't root / rooted :( I tried Factory Reset, battery out, SIM and Micro SD out, but all for nothing. I don't use any strange apps, just the basic ones and all verified from Google Play. I like keeping my phone very simple... Now, is there any solution out there? Anyway, I will try to go to a private store and ask the guys to install a custom ROM, maybe Android Jelly Bean. I won't do it at home - takes time and I patience and I don't have them these days :) But, LG sucks. I'll never a phone from them anymore ! I will try a Windows Phone in the future. I'm sick of Android, too. Maybe an Ubuntu mobile phone, Linux has been always great...

frndz this phone is very good i use it since 1 year.it works very well and it is also better from galaxy grand it is upgradable to 4.0.4. but one limitation of thi
s phone is that,it is not revaluable if you had a business of sel n purchase of mobile then dont bought it.if you r a regular user than it is a good phone i i reccomend you
