Nice specs.. but it's kinda cheap looking(based on the pics). I'm guessing it will be on the same price range as new samsung galaxy ace(well, it should be)

Nice display, I'd take it over AMOLED any day...just look how many people have a burnt in status bar on the Galaxy S after a few months of use..

A shame it's not dual core...

Does LG Optimus Black have scratch resistant or gorilla glass display?????
I think this feature is very important for the 4 inch display.

The shaking and tilting gestures showed on the hand-on preview of this phone are completely useless. Do they really believe that shaking the phone when going through the gallery is useful? Or shacking the phone 3 times to get get into camera mode? Or even worse tilting the phone to navigate in the browser.

No DivX XviD support out of the box. A huge let down of this great phone. Desire S and Incredible S will have an advantage over this phone in multimedia department (not as goodlooking as black though).

Apparently this phone is going to be priced lower than optimus2x so this phone will possibly be targeted to mid-range market. If that's true I think this phone will be a huge hit since it still packs 1ghz processor with fascinating NOVA display. Plus it's extra slim and stylish!

How in the world could LG not make this phone a 4G, dual core and nod HDMI is beyond me. What a waste of a beautifully designed phone to be lacking such important specs. This is just such a waste, shame on LG.

Can't wait for GSMArena's review.
They say it'll be affordable eh. :-)
And it's Android. And an LCD screen not S-AMOLED. S-AMOLED is good but being treated to an all-black interface (add bada OS) takes the "awesomeness" away. The UI is too feature-phonish. Just my opinion.
This could be my S8500 replacement.

It has a TI OMAP 3630 processor, the same as in the Milestone 2, so it should be fast and power efficent (45nm).
