Last week i've sent my LG through a shop dealer the only one agent of LG products in my hometown to upgrade to ICS and paid rm80 for the service!!!poor service from the unprofessional malay sales girl asked me to collect after 1week! Then i found it lags a lot..cant scroll..jamned sometimes stuck at one app.. and need to unplug the battery n restart again..!! Even download a few app but its ram showed has been occupied a lot of space.. so disappointed with LG..!!That's why LG was out of trend..!!!

i upgraded my lgp970. I watched a upgrade video on youtube.. thats perfect.. Android 4.0.4

download lg smartflash and the new lgp970_v30b "ap.bin" and "cp.fls" files and manually upgate via pc.. its easy you when you download smartflash, you will get detailed instructions on how to install. its so easy. even a 10 year old could do it.. ive been running the above software for about 2 months and its fine ,no bugs or anything. its the offical update version that the phone comanpies would send over the air..

To get the latest ICS u need to update for a different region. ICS for this phone in malaysia isnt out yet. That being said, I highly recommend you head over to xda forums for custom roms and other tips n tricks.

hai guys now I update it from LG service center. 4.0. but it can also update into 4.1jelly beans now

Dear Friends, I'm in Malaysia, I try to update the new ICS use LG software update tool but it's showing that the device have the latest version so you don't need to updated. also I un installed the update tool and download the new one and tried again still the same result.
please somebody help me on this issue.

Hai dis is sandy again..
Actually i use about 200 Apps in OB
so RAM plays a major role for me...
That's y i am continuously asking same question regarding RAM, if user available RAM really decreases to 201MB then i will definitely not upgrade my phone to ICS.

only one guy answered 201 is it true??
in GB its 488MB in ICS its 201MB.. i just can't believe it..
ICS users plz do conform user available RAM.. by installing mini info classic app.
plz tell me denominator value

Hey Sandy, I installed ICS4.0.4 on OB.... Ths is bloody awsome. Performance is fluent and crisp.
I would say get it updated and feel on your own.
