I wont this one. I have Galaxsy S3 but maybe i will sell it to fund this one....

dinosaur specs for a smartphone. but lg need to focus on their support. their recent flagship optimus 4x had video recording issues. this is pathetic, for a company like lg why can`t they release it without issues. and that`s it no other features at all just a powerful hardware won`t sell . in that case every chip manufacturer would have their own branded handsets . bring out some software innovations. well enough said . i m bored

I don't get it. Why Lg go with 768x1280 instead of 720p (720x1280) which is the common screen ratio on the market now. If they choose that 768x1280 screen, there won't be much games optimized for that kind of screen ratio.

why lg go with 768x1280 instead of common 720x1280? i dont get it, 720p is the standard HD screen and most games are running on it. So i think the Optimus G with its 768x1280 screen will be hardly to find games optimized for that kind of screen ratio.

speeds are pretty much exactually the same running through homes screens and launching the app drawer if anything the sgs3 is slightly quicker, but the camera does start up quicker by .05 of a second not 2-3 as you said lol..

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-09-03 20:26 from vMew - click to readif you were able to catch the video from youtube where S3 went head to head with Xperia T, the first one ate a lot of dust in opening different programs on the phone like the Playstore, google site, camera, music and video players, messaging app, etc! that's the answer to your question about explanation. even if Xperia T was only 1 or 2 secs ahead of S3, the main point is that it is faster and more powerful even if you disregard the speed coz as what you said its not noticeable in a day to day usage but again, new Xperia line is faster so what more with the Optimus G? double the power of the new line of Xperias will definitely make other phones smoke and eat dusts in the end of every battle that this phone will go thru against other flagship devices from other makers like Samsung, HTC, Moto, Apple and Sony. let us just make the right choice, and i hope for me, when this comes to the Phils. it would be the best choice that i'll ever make in getting a device. cheers! ^^

Krait has been around for a few months already and it has not failed in speed tests and reliability just to tell you. the HTC One S of my friend always runs faster than my One X and sometimes with my bestfriends' S3 which actually came from me coz i sold it to him coz i wanted a better looking device coz S3 looks ugly and looks like a bar soap, especially the white color but, i had to admit that S3 is faster than the One X. Krait processor with dual core cpu is reliable enough in speeds and in handling a better battery life so i bet LG was able to make the best decision to come with Snapdragon's S4 Krait and not providing this Optimus G an Nvidia Tegra 3 cpu coz this will get a better performance. take note, sometimes the 4X HD even runs a lil faster than S3 connected to the same wi-fi or even when using the same internet SoC from the same network provider here in the Phils. you won't make me change my mind of thinking that this will be better than S3 and new Not2 and the new line up of Xperia phones.

They lacks only great camera phones. If they will start to make phones with 14, or 16 MP with optical zoom, Samsung will be more famous then now.
I am 100% sure Samsung will sell more S3 devices then LG the Optimus G.
If we talk about the Note, Samsung sold more than 5 million, and I am sure they will have even a bigger success with the Note2.
