Anonymous, 16 Sep 2012for me there are only two best phones in the world today I-PHONE 5 and LG OPTIMUS G.! t... moreIphone 5 is not all that. They are several Android phones that are much superior. Apple products are over priced and over hyped by all media outlets. I had an Iphone 4 when it was newly released and got rid of it after just 6 months. I have a SG2 and will get this beast when the UK get it.
all specs are like a dream,,, until i read internal memory 2gb zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
is it available in white ?
you realize apart from the 4.7" lcd this is just the XIAOMI Mi2 only more than $314 right?

I-PHONE 5 and LG OPTIMUS G.!

There's gonna be phone that has 1080p screen, 16 mp, higher Procie n CPU. just wait!
LG made the 1st dual-core phone(optimus 2x) in the world and everyone was impressed by it but guess what ? It's still running on gingerbread.C'mon LG,at least promise that you will provide faster updates for 2 years to come then I might consider buying your products but for now,I'm sticking to Samsung because I would rather have faster/more updates than some performance boost.
The best phone there is. It's the ultimate droid. Iphone sucks infront of it. Go LG
AnonD-71612, 14 Sep 2012I remember dealing with Goldstar prior to LG (luckygoldstar) in the 1990's and it was a compan... moreyou are not a real fan of Apple sir coz you just like their products but you are open in trying out something new. i admire people like you who really admits that Apple are just lucky to have fans who like their products but doesn't mean that they'll be on top of their game forever. this LG G is so far the best smartphone one can ever have this 2012 up until 2013. this is surely gonna fire up LG's name in the scene and this is also gonna be worth the wait for all of us who want to get our hands on this device! ^^
Looks to be the ultimate phone, just hope the rumours of poor LG software update and support are a thing off the past.
AnonD-71436, 13 Sep 2012In terms of specs cpu, ram, camera & battery this is THE BEST PHONE of the year (or in mob... morei agree with you but at some point, i would like to add that the Adreno 320 GPU provides a better looking graphics on this phone than the Mali-400 of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2! Mali-400 can even be beaten by Adreno 225 currently used by the flagship devices of Sony newly released! i agree that now, LG is trying to improve their customer service and updates on their devices' softwares. i can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy! might wanna buy the white version especially if this has a glass backpanel and crystal-like back! ^_^
I hope this kills the IPhone5 hype since this would be released earlier.
LG, generations ahead of the "copy cat" pack. They introduce and bring in new features that later become the staple in other droids. ONE SILENT UNMENTIONED TRUTH: LG Battries Last Longer than the competition.
what abt Xiaomi Mi-Two ?
it costs only 315 but only has a 8 mp camera and 16 Gb storage

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2012You compare different generations of phones, when you had that LG phone, phones were really di... moreHaha, of course I'm comparing different generations, technology improves everyday so it'd be moronic of me to think that the touchscreen is the same as then. I used to own an LG Renoir which didn't even implement Android. So in other words, the software experience was so-so. Seeing how far LG has come, makes it very tempting for me to give it another shot.
Truthfully, the LG didn't produce very attractive phones in the past, but with their recent ones... they look more refined and sleek. They are willing to spend more time on tweaking it physical features to give it a more premium look and feel. I might sound greedy, but I wish they used their 1080p screens like they did for their 5 inch screen that was previously shown. But that probably needs more time for testing. But seeing how the earlier leaks of the phone looks a little different from what the poster looks like, it makes me a little hopeful. Maybe a 4.7 inch with 1080p. Surely I'd have someone say "Why would you need a screen resolution like that on a small screen like this?" Because it's so "resolutionary".
So many people were astounded by the new ipad's (sorry I'm comparing a tablet with a smartphone) screen, showered the display with compliments. And seeing how Apple used it as their slogan, it was the most attractive selling point to attract customers and to stand out from the rest of its competitors. I still have my ipad and ipad 2 because I don’t see the need to upgrade (I’m interested in Nexus 7 with its stock Jelly Bean though). Currently, the majority of the tablet market has a resolution of 1280x800 on a 10 or so inch screen with some manufacturer's bumping its new products to 1080p, (Asus, Acer, Huawei etc...) There wouldn’t be anything wrong if LG really did. LG is really trying to be innovative.
Oh well, let’s stop my randomness of spouting these thoughts. I'll have my fingers-crossed for even more boosts. Even if it doesn't, it's not going to change the fact there's a 50/50 of me getting a Note II or this one.
(It’s so much easier to talk about something I’m interested it. Ramble, ramble, ramble. )
