Well actually 4.1.2 is good enough. I want to stay here, root, and have access to use Directory Bind which makes my game's big data can be played although it was placed in external. Now i have Asphalt 8, Fifa 2014, real racing 3, gt racing 2, iron man 3, and many big games already in my phone and still got 6.53GB left. Performance still awesome than any phone with the same price with FHD screen XD

Good day, LG Pro Users!
I'm from the Philippines. After some mild research, i found that the available LG Optimus G Pro here has the model number "E988" (http://www.lg.com/ph/mobile-ph...imus-g-pro). I read somewhere that the model number for the G Pro globally is "E985," while in India, it is "E988". Based on previous comments/posts on this thread, "E988" does not support LTE in India. I guess my question is...do the LG Optimus Pros released here in the Philippines support LTE, or is it the same case as the ones they have in India where LTE is not supported? It says on the LG Philippines website that one of the key features of this phone is that it does have LTE. It just conflicts with what I have read on this thread so far. Please help...thanks!

> In reply to Pooya74 @ 2013-12-13 10:30 from 9x7i - click to readPeople clamor for higher android version just for the sake of it. If any update is not going to add at least extra 2hrs to my battery life, I'd rather not update. Other companies rush and update their devices without proper testing. For example, Galaxy Note 2 users are complaining that the update has added more lags to their already lagging devices. Today is 99th day am using this phone and not a single day have i experienced any form of lag or hanging whatsoever. The phone is fast, i mean super fast. Response is out of this world. For me, the only thing needed is more battery life. Higher android version is not as important as some folks make it appear.

A higher version of android and features of the mighty G2.
An Improved camera performance.
And...
If it isn't an advantage so why htc one gets 4.4. The phone was unveiled with G pro. So I expect from LG at least 4.2 or 4.3

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-12-12 13:09 from N9@S - click to readEXACTLY! I don't really understand why people keep complaining about software update. Since Android jelly bean, the platform has become very stable and smooth. From there to 4.3 or 4.4 don't have much different really, except 4.4 is optimized for low end smartphone. I don't found any problem on my G pro currently running on 4.1.2, no bugs or things like that.. I do understand other manufacturers like Sony, HTC and Samsung are upgrading to 4.3 and 4.4 is on the way, but can anyone here please tell me what's the main difference in performance after those update? NOTHINGGGGG except for galaxy line now can support the smart watch! I've no regret at all switching from galaxy to G pro, and is still one of the best out there in the market today.. considering the price point (less than $400) of this phone I would say this is the BEST OUT THERE! So please stop complaining about this or that!
