hey frnds,dnt buy ths phne..its jst a toy wth good screen resolution nd good batry...bt lots of probs in ths hndset.
1)evrbdy knws lg s mch mch laging bck in dlvrng prompt srvce,unavlblty of prts etc etc.
2)tchscrn rspnce too slw as cmpard to smsng.
3)i cald usng sim 1,wrkd fne..swcthd to sim 2,cald usng sim 2,wrkd fne..swtchd bck to sim 1 no covrge on sim 1..hd to restrt cel..sim 1 wrks 1st tme aftr bootng cel,bt hve 2 restrt cel agn nd agn.
4)intrnt avrge nt apreciable.
5)gps receiver avrge..nt wrkng insde aprtmnts..wrks nly in opn space..
i am usin tata docomo in nokia c5..no problm snce mre thn 1 year..gr8 intrnt,gud gps recivr wrkng evn whn sgnl strngth s nly 1 bar..nly bad abt c5 s sml scrn..bt vl w8 fr smsng glxy y pro duos..hpe its betr thn lg.

Hi Users.
I helped my bro buy this phone and so i had a few days to tool around with it. here is my take. Good battery life for android dual sim 3g midrange resolution screen handset. if you are not using wifi bluetooth 3g, please switch off to preserve battery. Lower. your brightness to zero, it will still be visible. Android gives options to stop running apps. Just go to setting then applications. Dual sim standby function. only one sim can be on 3g/wcdma/hsdpa at once, the other remains 2g but you can switch this function between sims or make both sims 2g if you are so inclined. Great screen resolution for games eg ninjump, bubble pop, pinball, mage wars, irunner. also good apps. like whatsapp, kakaotalk, googletalk, juice defender, opera mini browser, etc. signal strength capture is sensitive at times but this is common in dual sim handsets. it is not an LG issue alone. This is a phone that has risen on reputation alone with next to zero advertizing/marketing on the part of lg. it totally eclipses it's samsung counterparts in functions, performance, looks and user appeal. believe me, i use only samsung and se products yet this lg handset has set a pace that will define a new niche for lg if they continue to deliver quality like this. samsung is slowly going the way of nokia and se, eg launching galaxy ace duos but saddling users with cdma and gsm as well as overbearing touchwiz ui which taxes android's battery usage experience. sad. at least give the galaxy ace dual gsm sim options for crying out loud. lg has done a good job on pooling specifications, material quality, design, functions, accurate battery choice and excellent response to consumer needs. let us see what the future holds.

Well if i'm going to choose between galaxy Y and this one, i'll choose this one for it's :

1. dual sim
2. larger display ( 3.2" vs. 3" )
3. larger resolution ( 320x480 vs. 240x320 )
4. camera ( 3.2mp vs 2mp )

but samsung has much responsive touch, but u can bear with it.

But if i had a budget for this fone, i just going to add an extra buck and will get Xperia Mini sacrificing the dual sim features for much more higher android specs with the extra bucks.

slower...than samsung counterpart
analyzing it...its a small phone, so it has a smaller qwerty keypad to fit your finger.

so you will use LG phone setup keypad...but

its LCD screen? less sensitive or responsive.

sometimes, it does'nt even react in your touch
making you lost while typing.

in the end...it will make you crave for a new,reliable dual sim android

cannot compare LG wth samsung in India..
Samsung is topper from 2 years..good service set-up, easily avalability of parts..i prefer samsung..
