I bought LG Optimus Net Dual 3 days ago, but I'm not satisfied with the battery life. It won't last a day even in standby mode.

> In reply to SUSH @ 2012-02-21 08:48 from ttv3 - click to readi have and im using both (samsung galaxy y pro duos and lg optimus net dual) mobiles. i advise you to buy samsung galaxy y pro duos. both mobiles lag but lg lags a lot compared to samsung. even the touchscreen of lg is not as sensitive like samsung so when you do it fast you get delayed with lg.

The bad thing about this phone is that there is no community support or custom ROM yet. When you buy an Android, you definitely want to root it, right.

I'm using this phone for about 10 days now. Bought on Flipkart.com

Screen & Picture quality is awesome: best in class.
Voice loudness in call: bit soft. Not so audible, esp in outdoors. Even music loudspeaker volume is not great. So you're very likely to miss the rings when outdoors unless the vibration is on.

Touch screen is overall good and sensitive, but it seems there are bugs related to typing.

keystrokes barely work on the touch screen when in call, or after a resume from screen locking-unlocking. Even the call end key (touch) works intermittently. If you want to call IVR and have to enter your credit card no, it is virtually not possible to get it right even in 2nd or 3rd attempt.

If you turn off/on GPRS data repeatedly for about 5-10 times in a day or two, finally when you turn on the GSM Data, it doesn't work. You need to reboot your phone to get it to work.

But otherwise, I feel its a great phone - value for money, and surely a great Dual Sim Android in the market. Camera is good too. Very handy. Battery life is what you can expect from a dual sim android. I don't talk much - just use 3G Data and at times Wi-Fi, and may be 30 mins of talking in a day, and the battery lasts only 1 day (or less). Have used Spice MI-270 (dual sim andorid 2.2) for about 6-8 months, which I felt was great too, the major disadvantage there was touch-screen being resistive, so needed to use stylus for typing. But that had hardware keys for calling and ending the call - making it quite reliable on that front.
