Owners of the Korean LG Optimus 2X SU660, rejoice! As promised earlier, LG has delivered an update for your device, which will finally let it experience the tasty Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The update build name is V30x name, which as our tipster suggests, means it's packing Ice Cream Sandwich (V1x - Froyo; V2x - Gingerbread).

To get the update follow this download link for the ~540MB .kdz file. To load it onto your device, you can follow this tutorial courtesy of XDA developer nikhil4186. Don't forget that this is only for the Korean version of the Optimus 2X SU660, and it won't work on the international version of the device.

It's still unknown when LG will issue the update for the international Optimus 2X (and there's still a small chance that this won't happen at all), but we are hoping to see it soon enough.

Thanks for the tip, Ricardo!
