I bought this phone about 3 months ago. Here are my comments after used:
Thumbs up design.. cool.. stylish.. the front cover are made some kind of low quality painting, there was once I put it in my pocket and the black color painting already scratched off easily by my coins.
Not recommended for heavy sms users, it will drive you nutzzz.. coz.. the keypad are hard to press and sms screen is loading pretty slow. SMS dictionary function is not as good as others, LG doesn’t has word-replacing function. Example: you want the word “PORRY”, you press, 7,6,7,7,9. It will shown SORRY & POPPY. Hence, you need to add the WORD to dictionary, after you done and back to the screen you will see “SORRYPORRY”, from there you need to delete the whole thing and redo again.
It can support 1GB memory. Great! I frequently encountered “PLEASE WAIT” then the phone will stuck for 2 mins and restart automatically. Note: LG phone needs perform 1 – 2 mins for phone functions loading. Total = 5 mins waiting for memory stuck case. I REALLY encountered very often. Average about once a day.
SMS Ringtones = Default 4 choices only. BEAR with it!
Bluetooth functions are horrible, you ONLY allowed to send files to others if the file is in INTERNAL memory. Meaning, if you need to send a 3MB mp3 song to someone, you need to wait for 1 –2 mins transfer to internal memory then only take another 3 mins for bluetooth transfer. ZzZZZ..
SMS Storage is 150 messages. No folder can be created. All in Inbox. The thing I dislike most is every time I delete a message it will goes back to message #1. Example: If I delete message #34 & #35, then I need to press 33 times down button to the message and delete and it will back to msg #1, hence, I need to press another 33 times down button for a msg deletion. ZzzzzzzZZZZ
Camera, 2MP, Fantastic! Self-take. COOL! Auto-focus function, Great! But dun expect to get any good photos during night time although you have torch / flash feature. 100% guarantee NO!
Battery = At least charging 3 hours per day and will not last more than 1 day.

Overall, I regret I bought this phone. : (

I've just bought the phone,

No doubt the phone appears to work slow, but the PC connectivity is better than other cell phones. Messaging is difficult esp. if one has been used to Nokia phones, where messaging is at its best.

The camera appears to work rather slow and in the Digital Camera mode the phone usually responds late to button presses.

The design is good and if compared to Razor, the Swivel Screen gives the edge, but as far as battery life is concerned, i feel that when one spends money in buying a good cell phone, battery ,life must always be considered, as this phone doesnt survive more than two days without a battery.

So it LG markets the phone saying a 200 hr Batt life, they better prove it. I guess i'll drag a month with this phone and buy a Samsung Set instead.

this phone has a nice and great design but then the battery very lousy... i have to charge it everyday as it keeps running out of battery... also it cannot take a great picture as it is very lagging and the bluetooth is also very slow... now i'm looking for a buyer

its the worse phone ever made coz every where the story is same.the first day you get the phone the next day the problem will start coz first the paint will start to come come off in a weeks time and the software which comes it will not work and will create problems in your computer.after that the phone will go blank when you recieve or make a call....pliz dont even think buy this "CRAP"...

-rubbish battery life
-takes ages to take a picture
-mp3 can turn on via the buttons on the front when you don't want them to
-sometime turns off of its own accord
It is generally unreliable. DO NOT BUY!

It is a pathetic phone. No doubt it had a bad battery and i still went for it, its camera is not as good as a 2 mega pix should be. GPRS connectivity is (mobile office) is giving me problem at the moment. It does not support some of the latest web interfaces like yahoo mail or rediff mail. Slow in opening application and bluetooth headset devices with LG is horrible. Please avoid buying LG products for mobile phones.

i bought it about 3 days...n d batteries are so bad.its only for 24 hours...
is someone can explain me what happening? is it only happened 2 me or all the P7200 are the same....

Definitely not as good as I thought it would be. The camera lags and is not as clear as a 2 megapixel camera should be. The software cd is basically worthless as far as I can tell. The handsfree microphone has a weird design. If you connect your own headphones (which you probably will since the original has no bass) then you have about 3 feet of cords and the microphone is on the adapter/ remote thing that connects to your headphones which makes things very inconvenient. The phones seems great at first but is actually not that great at all.

I have been trying to find out more about this dam phone on forums but no one really responds so here it is. There is no manual on the n. america lg website. However, since i read they have the phone in europe i looked it up. Go to the UK link from the global lg site then look for the p7200 and you should see the detailed MANUAL.

how can i use the photocall option in this phone (LG P7200) as it always says the phonebook folder is empty. where is the phone book folder?

I think this cell is good for them those gets enough for cell itself. If you want get more software in this cell it is impossible. Owned one half year.
