This seems like a neat phone. But my wonder is its battery life and the differnce between this and a reg smart phone. Any answers???
Needs second cam for video calls, and a 4 inch screen
My pal bought it without asking my idea, but now that i've worked with it i must say: if you had a LG phone before this one is not a buggy slow shit like your old phone, its completely a new LG, so fast
@amrorphy this is a HW spec sheet not a review of the OS nothing you mentioned except for the front camera has anything to do with HW. But since you mentioned it, Flash support could be coming early next year and who cares about java on a phone? I don't even like that crapware on my computer let alone on a phone. Last but not least you have absolutely no idea if this phone will be upgradeable to the future version of Windows Phone when it is released, and even if its not so what? This phone will be obsolete by then anyway considering the typical mobile customer upgrades every 2-3yrs.
On to my HW review:
I played with this phone hands on at the ATT store today, great little high quality phone, was surprised the display was MUCH sharper than the Samsung Focus's AMOLED display sitting next to it.
Considering all of the AMOLED hype, I was surprised that the Samsung focus only offers .5hrs additional talk time over the LG, granted the Samsung has a .5" larger screen. The colors themselves were more brilliant on the Samsung Focus but text and web pages was much clearer on the LG Quantum. I would take the LG's clarity over the Samsung's battery life any day.
The only reason I did not buy the Samsung was because it had a smallish 3.5" screen considering most are coming out with 4" screens.
It was refreshing to find actual METAL on the back of this phone, I am not sure however if the face of the phone is Gorilla glass. I am also happy to see keyboard sliders are starting to make an appearance, I cannot stand touchscreen only phones I need my keyboard.
Conclusion: Great little phone, if you do not mind the smallish screen and want a keyboard slider this is the one for you. If you are like me and want a 4" screen, and Gorilla glass, you may be out of luck until next year.
no adobe flash 10.1- no front camera - no java - windows can't be upgradable to upper future version

nice lkng phone
I am very much looking forward to this phone. I like that it leans more toward the business user. It's good to see that Microsoft did not forget about their WinMo fans. I've seen other pics showing a nifty-looking kick-stand. Can anyone confirm this??
really nice design!
Looks very comportable qwerty keyboard
Maybe if u wanna talking about the design with this phone... maybe i'm agree if u said the design of this phone is too bad.. LOL
