lg s5100 is actually a goog fon compared to other fon with the same price. the only problem is the battery life. is there s store wherein can buy batt here in the phils??

well.. im using this phone right now and just to tell you that it is not that good! the battery stands by only for 2 days or so. and if you sms people like 6-10 times it's battery dies in a few hours. soooo regretful to buy this phone!

Excellent phone, it's comfortable and easy to use. The battery is a bit of a problem, it doesn't have a lot of hours, but as I use mine to call with (or take pictures) less than average, it suits me well anyway.
Since I do write a lot of sms'es, it bothers me that I can't write numbers without having to change from abc to 123 (press-and-hold for numbers is preferable)

I am using S5000 for some months. It is a exelent handset. S5100 is a little upgraded version of S5000. Very satisfied with these models.

its a little confusing, some sites refer to this handset as vga camera [some as 1.3 megapix]; and does it have a sd card slot, some sites say that as well;
anyways looks wise good handset
