Bought one , connects to internet when it feels like but refuses to browse pages. Always getting PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED yet internet is connected. Any ideas ? Hey LG why dont you come to the rescue - I dare you or do you know that it is not upto to scratch !!!

I find this to be a fantastic little handset. However, I also cannot get the PHOTOCALL to work. When I try to add a picture to a contact name, it says "phonebook picture empty", and I cannot find a specific PHONEBOOK PICTURE GALLERY anywhere. This is frustrating! Any suggestions, anyone???

the worst phone ive had battery crap have2 charge it up every day it keeps frezing so u hav 2 take battery out and start again the phone is just S***

Bought this phone last weekend. I am less than pleased. The screen is way too bright, there seems to be no way to reduce the brightness. The T9 typing-assist intelligence seems to be inferior to my ancient Panasonic GD35 phone. The phone gives a couple of vibration alerts whenever it is switched on, doesnt seem to be a way to turn off that either. Also, it doesn't seem to have any facility to automatically switch off and switch on at preset times.
If I am mistaken about these and there indeed is a way to do these settings, could someone kindly let me know the same?

I bought this phone in April this 06. since then I have taken it back to the shop 3 times!!!!!!!
There have been 2 faults - one, it sometimes does not recognise the network ! which is a
real pain! the other is deleting messages - sometimes it says it has, and then they come back !....... then it takes time thinking about what to do nxt and tells you to wait !
then I cannot do anymore ! I am at the stage where I feel sooooooooo frustrated and I want to scream !!!!!!!!!! the carphone warehouse have not been very supportive and I am going to write to their head office about a refund ! I keep being told that the phone has to be fixed 3 times before they will offer me another ! and each time it goes away for at least 6 weeks !!!!!!!!!!!

i think this phone is great..got it for £80 brand new and for that kind of price you cant fault it..looks fantasitc the colour screen is awsome and the tones are out of this world..havent tryed linking it up too the pc yet so im not sure what the software is like that comes with the phone?but too be honest im not really into that anyway...if your after a sleek sexy looking phone that works well and isnt going to burn a hole in your pocket then this is the phone for you..BUY IT!!!i guarantee you wont regret it...

even i am facing the same problem..Also the phone doesnot recognise.jar and .jad format files.so i can not install any java games or applications.any solution for this problem.

heyyy whenever i try to CONNECT through lg contents bank it says "INITIALIZING..PLEASE WAIT" ..CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHY IS IT SO??i tried selecting below given method but it didn't work.so anyone can advise me how to connect it

once again ... the phone timesout probbly b'coz the keypads on autolock. try transfering when ur on the menu screen.
and firstly make sure ur doing the other things right. turn the phone modem on, make sure u choose the the LG USB PORT(highest baud rate) on the PC, make sure the phone keypad is'nt locked. click connect n u're done.
