Freddy , 22 Nov 2016what about primary camera status ... ??? It's a better camera than most competitors in the price range including Oppo, Vivo, Gionee etc. only HTC might be slightly better (One X9).

- Word prediction and completion works just fine
- No issues with contacts on my phone
- 16MP back cam is one of the best in this category without doubt
Confirmed: At least some variants of this phone are getting the Nougat update.
I brought a LG Stylus 2 plus last month. compared to my old Lenova K3 note. lots of drawbacks. No call record, contact search is difficult to take (eg: a two word name we want, we cant get it easily), at the time of call conncting we can'nt get viberation alert. writing language only two options. local la nguage and Eng writing- No Key board option on google handwriting. Very low sound. No 16MP quality on backcam. No word completion and prediction on board. Surely waste of money. I cannot believe its a more than 20000 rupees phone.

Phone overheats when you aren't even doing anything but surfing the web. Constantly down loading IDK what. Stylus fell out the first week i had the phone. Phone kept freezing up. Call quality is terrible, constantly crackling and cutting out. Virgin mobile is my carrier, not the best maybe but good bang for the buck. Phone has 16gb of internal storage and 8gb of that that was bloat ware that you can't uninstall. Phone would freeze up constantly and i had to take out the battery and reboot a few times everyday. I used it for about 4 months and HATED it. I was super disappointed and i will NEVER buy an LG phone again. The phone was stolen and i had to laugh! Hope they have better luck with it y than

Communication, connectivity and computing have now become the core functions of a phone.

The features you deem unimportant - the large screen and the stylus - are exactly my reasons for preferring the LG Stylus 2 to the Zenfone. Having experienced amazing productivity gains with the Samsung Galaxy Note series, I would not compare any phone without a digitiser stylus with one that has.
I bought the LG 535T (Stylus 2 Plus) because of its stylus, hoping it would be an acceptable replacement for my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which, by the way, keeps going strong. Sadly, I am disappointed in the LG because, straight from the box, I set it up. Then I found that I am unable to delete any SMS, unless I delete the entire thread! When I want to delete an SMS, I get "Delete error", without any explanation! For a phone to behave that way, straight out of the box, is totally unacceptable.
Can someone tell me how to conserve battery power on my lg stylus 2 plus. The phones battery seems to be draining pretty fast

In fact it offers a better SoC, the Snapdragon 625.
And besides, that cost cutting theory doesn't quite cuts it. The fingerprint variant costs somewhere around 8k ~ 16k. The 3GB\1080p variant costs around 20k. Theory doesn't works.
Even after accounting for the fingerprint sensor costs, other features aren't bank breaking - OTG, Dual band WiFi ac. OTG support is kernel based while the .ac standard is already supported by the chip.
Getting rid of these minor annoyances and repackaging the same body with the newer (and better) chip would make the upcoming Stylus a well rounded device by 2017 standards.

Ofc they did that to reduce the cost in replace of the fingerprint. If you want the FHD (1080p) and 3GB of RAM one then fingerprint is sacrificed. Ofc you wouldn't have both with such price and to have both means you need the budget for the upper midranger.

Really, at 20k LG should've thought about that. The Stylus 3 or Stylus 2017 should fix all of the above.
