> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-03-26 14:31 from Kxba - click to readThe lg thrive is a good phone for the money, it does most of what expensive androids do, albiet slowely.the speaker and battery life is beyter than a samsung I trefd. Just put your att go phone, 3G sim card in ans you're good to go.
I loved this phone for a couple of months then it began to malfunction. First space bar wouldn't stop spacing, then it couldn't always locate my sd card, one day it went into head phone mode by itself.

Mine has GPS. BTW you can turn it on and off so look for that setting maybe it's there.
An odd thing it does with the star map app is the map gets jittery when pointed north but stable while pointing south. I don't know if it's using a compass or GPS or combination. There's some settings for the program and I'll look at them later but still the jittery thing is annoying.

This phone does NOT have GPS. No idea why all these online sites are claiming it does. I own one and it does NOT have GPS. YOU must be next to a WIFI for it to determine your location which is dumb if you are lost on the highway.
