I have tried a 2gb SanDisk MicroSD card and it worked fine! so the romours of it only supporting 512 are totally not true.
is this a world phone or is it like the chocolate, which only for verizon???
hey. can you use this phone with a normal sim card? if you know please post here.
i am trying to put music onto my phone from my computer and it is saying something about an idle screen but i dont know what its going on about plz email me at email@example.com
LG U400 is exclusive to Three like most LG's. It has been the best LG i have seen so far...
t montana knows nothing at all about this phone, and i sugest that he upgrades from his cheap old slvr and get one of these phones as they are mint because. i have one and the features are outstanding.
this phone only takes a 512mb SD card,it comes with the phone but 512mb isnt all that much, and u cant match beats with the turntable it just makes 1 single scratch sound?!? the phone is still very smart and unique in its own way.
hey guys n gals, just wondering does this phone have FM radio? also can you have mp3s set as your ring tone? last thing i want to know is where can i get this in australia?!?! i saw an add board with it from 3 mobile but is there anywhere else anyone has seen it...can someone please let me know via email or on this post thanks!
Nice sleek phone...Want this phone when does it come out let me know ppl!!!
to be honest it looks good init but.... its not mp3 omg how can they be so stupid u need an mp3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The phone is about $500-550 Australian dollars to buy outright at the moment, it's offered by 3 here, but they told me it was permanently locked to the 3 network.
You could probably just use a normal sim card in the phone, but you wouldn't be able to use any of the 3G features, which would be a pity.
Also, I just read that the phone only takes up to 512MB of expandable memory... so my idea of sticking a 2GB micro SD card in it may not work... can anyone confirm or deny this? has anyone used a memory card larger than 512MB in it?
here are the talk time specs:
Standby time: up to 133 hours
Voice Talk time: up to 148 mins
Video Talk time: up to 110 mins
Mobile TV : up to 116 mins
Music Play: up to 6.2 hours
Just bought an LG U400 from 3 Australia yesterday.
So far, I am really impressed... The screen resolution is absolutely amazing, the slide moves nice and cleanly... the sound clarity in both calls and through the speakers is very good.
The scroll wheel system takes a bit of getting used to, but I find it a fun and different way of navigating thru menus... (although I can imagine that people with larger fingers might have some trouble using the wheel...)
The looks of the phone itself are amazing... in my opinion, the U400 looks better than the chocolate phone, and has features that are about 100x better.
The 2MP camera takes nice images in good light, and not so good in the dark, but that seems to be the way with most phone cameras... I'm going to buy a 2GB micro SD card for the phone (only costs $125AUD these days, so I'll be able to fit enough mp3s on the phone to keep me interested for quite a while)...
All in all, I'm so impressed with this phone, and would recommend it to anyone!
hey all you people out there!!!! please, the ones who have this mobile just tell me how much you got it for! i really want it and have been saving up forever!! thanks babes!!
