very good phone ill say. its a very good looking phone, also very wicked with the scroll. its really good using the internet on it, you can go on google and other webs like ebay. ive been on ebay and even won an item on the phone by bidding. its always got an evrage of 3 blocks of reception which is very quick and smooth on internet. Not bad speakers. i would say dejay mode is alright but not all that.

i bought this phone 3months ago, great features but it freezes, constantly and now it completelly shots down and i'm out of a phone.

can anybody please tell me how is the quality of the speaker when it play mp3 or ringtone?
is it loud and clear compared to W810 or navigator?

I have had my u400 for about a week now and I must say it is a good buy. LG is not as famous as nokia or se here in the Philippines which is a good thing in a way coz their high end models are very affordable that way and not only that LG can hold their own with these companies

Ilve had this phone for 9 months now, no major issues, "ok" button stopped working for a little while (due to the beach) but it works fine now, u can use mp3's as your ringtone which is sweet, but having to buy games is annoying. otherwise is a great fone

i have this phone since april and at first i loved it, now i dont
the scrool wheel doesn't work, it turns itself off sometimes and the speaker is starting to go, and ive had the display replaced once already and file mangament is very slow if you have lots of songs and its very hard to navagate around the phone when the scroll wheel is not working. cant wait till i get me new n81 8gb.

Got this phone secondhand 8 months ago, been brilliant. Music quality is superb, works great with bluetooth headphones, no problems with picture quality and videos can be viewed in widescreen (using full screen sideways).
No problems with call quality at all, no dropped calls, no problems with keys or scroll wheel. Guess like anything if you look after it, it will last ages. I rate build quality much higher than Nokia too, feels very solid and well made.
One downside. Cannot be unlocked so you have to put up with '3' network, worth it for a good phone though.

I have this phone and it's really good, hasn't let me down yet and i've had it over a year now, And it still seems to impress people with its looks.

this phone is by lg? it doesnt look anything like an lg phone... if it didnt have that name on it id have thought it was some cheap $20 nokia!

Ive had this fone since febuary on contract. Already it is starting to let me down. Keeps switching itself off, loses signal often, wallpaper goes to factory setting, speakers starting to go on it too! Wouldnt have an LG about me again! Roll on upgrade time!

Nope, no radio, Tbh the phone looks good, but my scroll wheel has broken, all the lights don't work on the keypad. I hardly ever have signal and I've had the lcd display replaced once..

hey guys whts up its me here ... i aint much of a lg phone lover im into nokia but looking at the lg u 400 i must say that this is a really cool and a stylish phone ... simply equipped with most of the latest functions ... i mean look at the front of it its amazing but yet simple ... lg i think your almost there so keep it up ...

i have this phone and got it end of last year on 3 and have just been told it has an oversensitive antenna and thats why it wont let me make calls and drops calls. there is currently no resolution for this so consequently ive been given an early upgrade as my u400 is unusable in terms of making calls. they have said they will still repair it for me when they know how! other than that i love this phone! music software works really well!
