how do you use this phone's infra red??

I was using this phone in the UK. Now i would like to use an Indian service provider sim card with this phone. However when i am using indian sim card it says USIM LOCKED! Please help how this phone will work.

i had u8120 when i was in UK ,i had a lots of beautiful pictures in it,but unfortunatlly my cell damaged very seriously,please help me to get all my pictures saved in it thanx
