Ive been looking EVERYWHERE for this phone and i would really really like to purchase it. ive heard that motorola has a similar phone, but ive had motorolas in the past and im not very happy with their performance...i have also had LG phones (in fact i have one now) and im always impressed and happy with them. if anyone could tell me where they got it from, i would be very grateful! and is there any way to purchase the phone without buying the prepaid plan, because thats the only way that ive seen that you can find it. Hi all, I'm looking for any easy way to connect my LG 8110 to my PC using the USB port (as we do with the LG Phone Management Software) BUT i want to have the caller ID pop up on the screen with an incoming call
Just looking for a cheap no frills way to have an easy pop up or similar. Can anyone please help

G'day all,
I hope some one out there can assist me. I purchased my LG U8180 a few days ago and want to know if more than 1 person can be added to the picture ID function, at present i have only worked out how to add one person each time i add a new person it overwrites the first. The manual that came with the phone is rubbish doesn't tell you much at all. Hope some one can help me cheers. P.S great phone.

Hi, can someone please tell me how I can get the clock to display on the front screen when it is idle. My screen goes completely blank once the colour display goes into idle.

I bought this phone(unlocked) in Austria, with original softwer, and I can say that this phone is the best, because it's very cheap...
But I have one problem, I am from Serbia, and I can not yet use 3G calling :( but maybe in the future .... :)

Download it from any of the 3 sites. u8180 is available in Sweden,australia, Denmark mm from 3 opertor.

hey everybody. I believe someone asked which is the better of the two - LG U8180 or Motorola V975. Well they basically have the same functions...
The U8180 is pretty much a sexier, marginally updated U8110. Lg stick to the sam basic phone design and features updating slightly to make their new phone a more attractive buy.
In terms of looks i would definately go for the V975 but the hinge is REALLY dodgy. After prolonged use the flip almost swings open so... yeah...
I was in a toss up between the two - the V975's hinge put me off but the expandable memory was very attractive. All in all i believe that the U8180 is a better buy and i have decided that it is the one that i am going to get.
Of course this is MY personal opinion and i am not trying to preach U8180s on anyone else but for friendly person to person advice - go for the U8180.

hey i just got a lg u8180 mobile phone 2day and dont know how to connect it to thepc. i have installed the software that came with it but it dosent connect with the fone. i am being told 2 change ports, but i have tried doing that in hardware manager wizard. can somebody help me out if they know the solution. or have had the similar problem
