i have recently bought a lg u8180. i have been having trouble trying to sync with the computer. when i try and scnc its says
Fail to connect to the mobile phone,
Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. can sum1 plz help email me

Hi every one, everytime i use my infared with another mobile handset to recieve data it doesn't work.does anyone know how i can fix this problem????????

and also how do you send through infared on this phone?

Hey,

I've got the same IRDA problem with my u8180 if there is a code or something to change the settings enabling you to send or receive things through the IRDA can you please tell me i'd be very grateful

I'm having trouble connecting my phone to my laptop. I've installed the software that came with it but nothing seems to be happening. It's really annoying me coz I wanna put music onto my phone to entertain me :(
If anyone has the answer pretty please email me xxx

I was blessed with this type of phone but unfortunately I only used it for about 10 days. I realised that the battery was low and decided to charge it immediately I get home but I forgot, so later on I remember and went for the phone to recharge but it was blank. I tried charging it but it couldnot. The next morning I tried again but still it could not charge. Anytime I tried switching it on for I see a light which goes off immediately. Initially I was thinking it was the battery so I gave it to a friend who has the same phone he tried the battery but it was alright after charging it with a universal charger. What could be the problem, since I dont have a manual as this was brought from Sweden slightly used by my sister. What could be the problem? Can it be solve or the phone cannot be used again.

Irda is working only for syncronization with pc or laptop. No other phones.

Yes I have the same problem with the IrDa when I try to send some file via IrDa it doesn't send it!I've tryed to send from Sony Ericsson , Nokia

Hello to those who are suffering from loss of signal..
I own also U8180 and suffer the same problem.What i do is that i stitch it off and there on it.. it works.. i know it is uncomfortable... but we hve to live with it.

Hello LG.

I would be very greatfull if you could do something about the network of LG U8180 because we have been sufffering a lot about the network of the phone in Ghana west Africa.

I have mine in my hand without the network. the network just got missing five ddays now.

we love LG and like the brand so save us.
