I had the LG u8330 mobile phone and never got much out of it, So much like everone else

I had this phone for 4 years too. The infrared dosen't work I suppose it's a fault of the phone. Great battery life and solid phone I agree. It's an old phone so you can't expect it to have all the modern features of phones today. But I have found it to be very reliable as far as phones go.

Nokia IR communicate with other Nokias, no problem. Good thing about this phone is batter life, solid build and friendly.

Forgot to add. NO bluetooth and the infra red refuses to communicate with any other infra red device.

Had the phone for 4 years now. Rarely use it now, since the camera is crap. The internet is very very crap and screen is second rate compared to todays phones. But it still works and has a very good battery life!

Big Kharmic goodness coming the way of the kind soul who can help me get the pics/texts of huge sentimental value off my phone to my PC.
Trouble is the main handset screen is on the blink - now blank. Everything else works.
To fix it (3g service advise) they'd need to reload software and wipe everthing from the memory!
Trying to see if it's possible to work out how to navigate blindly through the phone menu (that I can't see) once I've attached the USB to my PC. In short I need some kind, kind person to tell me what buttons to hit in what order in order to work my way through this process.
Feel like doing a random act of kindness?

Hi,
I am having trouble downloading the U8330 software. I found a LG Customer support tool but it will not recognise my serial # for some reason? My screen has broken and I am trying to retrieve my data. I tried emailing the address above but it bounced back. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it! :)
