Top phone, but ive changed the camera size and i want to know what the default photo dimensions are so when i take a photo and set as main screen theme they talk up the whole screen, thanks.

just got this fone last week and i absolutely love it. its so easy to use and well it comes in my favorite color-green. only problem i have is trying to connect to the internet with it. i can send and receive emails but i can't browse any other url. otherwise, i love it..............

When installing the usb compataibilty
note that if your running Windows Xp. You must install all drivers meaning that when the bubble at the bottom right hand corner of your page appear and you click it and it tells you if you have a cd that came with the product. If your cd is already in eject it and put it back in. Then wait while it installs the driver. Then after you will have to install another driver do the same process several times until all drivers are install then install phone manager ect.

yer i got ma lg u830 a few dayz ago n thought it was great n all...but i hav probz installin da usb, it said it couldn't find da program on da net...dunno y....urm Nick is probaly rite bout da picture thang, dat if u englarge it on da comp it aint dat goot but how should i noe ma usb doesnt even WORK!!!...n last but not least if u convert ur mp3 from da comp 2 ya mob 2 mak it as ur ringtone do u hav 2 change da .mp3 into a .mid or .midi?..iz dere a folder...plz tell mi how dis workz...n does anibodi noe if u can tak a pic without flipin' ur mob open n takin it?if so plz help...thnx n plz help mi wit ma probz lol yer i got mani ob em...oh yer ma email doesn't work so plz just post it up here if u got an answer 2 ma questionz/probz

hey. to use the usb thing.
first install the programs on the cd that came with the fone.
Then, plug in the phone and it wil lask u to install sum sorta modem or sumtin. click install, it then will say microsoft hasnt aporved it. still install it. it wont harm ur comp.
then u will have to install liek 3 other things from teh fone.
once its all done, open lg phone manager
then click connect, if it doesnt connect.
click "tools" then "set com port" then click ok.
then it should work..

Mp3 ringtones.
no, you dont need to change the .mp3 extention to .mid
you just put the song in the sounds folder of your fone via the usb cord and it will all work fine.
just open then song on ur fone and go to
"set sound theme" then choose "ringtone"
something liek that.
And yea. u can take a foto wit hthe fone closed.
Whilst the fone is closed. press and hold the camera button. on the front screen a lil menu wil lsay
[Cam]
[Vid Cam]
[Exit]
using the volume keys scroll to which one u want. then press teh cam button again.

can it play java games from other company like motorola?...im look fo a game called "LINES" dat was once on a very old motorola i dink im guessin(played it lyk 8yrz ago) and thought it was very great...n a game ob a space ship dodging all dese asteroid lyk thingz were u hav 2 remain in da game as long as u can...
...if u noe were i can dwnload/buy dis game in australia hopefulli it would b great

Between this and the SE K608i, both offered by my local 3G shop at the same priced plan, I would say the SE would be a better choice- my personal opinion. Yes, the LG clamshell design is quite nice, however, I have used my friend's older model LG phone also from 3G, and I would have to say that the interface is not as functional and effective as the SE mobiles. Also after limited use, my friend had dropped the phone from a normal floor height, and the LCD screen already started to lose colour/gain messed up pixels.
The only real advantage of this over the SE phone was that the LG has a more appealing clamshell design, and also expandable memory slot. Other than these two things, I would say that the SE was a better product in general. Can I get any other opinions, please?

hey this fone looks awesum thinkin bout gettin 1 4 xmas but they seem 2 b all sold out!!! hey just wondering does this fone have a big screen and does it take good pics and videos cuz that is ma main concern o ye and is the sound from the mp3's good???? hey if u have this fone can u tell me if u get sick of it easily i really need 2 no cuz i am tossing up btween the lg u880 and this fone and dont no which 1 2 get!!! HELP!!!!

You most definitely can copy mp3s to the phone or extended memory and use them for ringtones. That's what I do.
