umm yeaa i have the same problem with conncting they say in the help section that there should be a little * in the com ports but thats just a lie coz there isint any um is there anyone who can help me email mail me or sumthin xxprincess.laura.xx@hotmail.com

Lg u8360 is a smart mobile . I bought it on 09-2005 and i didn't find better than it. But, i can't use it's web as etisalat and vodaphone didn't support it . This is my problem. iam very interesting about lg phones especially,lg kg920 but i didn't find any informations about it .

i bought this phone about 5 months ago.... worst thing i could have done. broke twice and the antenna is very annoying. Messaging is slow and for all u fast typers out there i sagest you dont get this phone. When u type quickly on it the phone is too slow and it wont transmit it. So to all you people looking to buy a phone DONT boy this one!!!!

i bought one of these rippers last year i have been nothing but uterly impressed with this phone. I have no regrets i would suggest this to anyone who asked.

to katie:that is because u didn't install it properly!go to control panel and install it again from there!at one point it will tell u that microsoft recomands u not to install it!u need to give 'continue anyway"!that's what i did and it worked fine,after i had what u had!good luck

when i try to connect my fone to the pc this always comes up 'fail to connect to mobile handset, please check comport and connect in idle screen. due to multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect." also there is no COM port with a * please help im sure have done everything correctly! email in_the_shadows13@hotmail.com

this fone is not very good the fone is flimsy when you flip it open and has no spring to it you need to push it all the way open to be able to get it open. i would suggest a fone like the nokia 6085 which has all the functions except for it has a VGA camera:)

hey people, i brought this phone a few months ago. Its a worth while investment. The camera is clear and great for self portraits. The only problem is if u have the camera resolution on 1.3 mp (1280x960) you cant use the zoom or multi shot options. The MP3 is pritty good too. But it takes along time to get songs on it. I only suggest to buy this phone if you live in a 3G area. Otherwise u cant browse the good net and calls cost ALOT more. buy a card reader.it's 10euro.It's faster and same as price as a data cable and it's easyer to use.

It has everything i could possibly need and is always reliable

ive got the same problem and when i tryed to connect to the phone manger when setting the com port theres no tick or anything next to any of the numbers does anyone no wat to do or have any suggestions on which com port to set it on

I Have this phone and hav had it for over a year now, i used to have the same problem connecting the phone to my PC, a bit tricky but then i worked it out.
1. connect it via USB and open the Phone Manager.
2. In preferences tab up the top click on COM Port.
3. Find the port that is ticked and click on it. (even though its ticked doesnt mean its the port its trying to connect to.
4. Make sure ur phone is at the home screen i.e press the red end call button so u can see ur background pic.
5. Click connect and sync away.

fantastic! long life battery, after a year and 2 months 6-7 days, if you press for 3-4 seconds the volume down button you get a powerfull flashlight, 1,3 mp, mp3, enough 4 me. until it dies i don`t need another phone
