hi
i know that plenty of peoplpe have said this here but for my lg u8360, i tried to install this but it didnt install and something comes up telling me to pick a com port or something like that. should i just give that up and get a bluetooth dongle
if any1 has a solution could they please email me on nasirr786@hotmail.com

ok every one that cant put stuff from ur pc on ur phone simple after installing lg phone manager from the installation cd u get with the phone open that and connect your phone then opent the lg phone manager up, it now should come up with a screen with a phone on it click contents on the left side of the page then it should come up with a screen up top of the page click transfer then it should say set com port clik the com port* with the star and tick usb. then ok it then go back to transfer and click connect it should say on ur phone connected. Now whatever u want to put on the phone locate it not on the lg phone manger but on ur pc and double it by puttin the mp3 or image on the desktop now whatever u put on ur phone must be doubled or else u lose it off ur pc and on to ur phone. now back on the lg phonemanger on the left side should be like desktop and stuff click my computer on it then lg phone then it should say card if you have one or image sound video click the folder which u want to store whatever u want then back to whatever file ur puttin on the phone drag that to the folder u selected and wala its on then the file on the desktop you doubled earlier put that back where u found it. Then to finish up clik transfer then disconnect. You have sucessfully transfered a file to ur phone im sorry if this sounds complicated but it works. Lg u8360 rox buy this phone and only get a 256mb card a 512 makes it run slower, camera good video good bluetooth good everything else is good.

hello all,
i have the answer 2 ur promlems about connecting da phone to da computer well first if you want 2 put music games etc. on your phone you need a transflash memorycard for your phone Aud$30 now you can get stuff on your phone first put the transflash in the bigger holder that comes with it then put it in your camera ( which doesnt come wif the phone ) connect it to the computer and it opens up

lg8360 is great.i got one as a present for my birthday and i loved it.
an advice for all:be good with parents cause they are the most important persons in our life.my mum died a month ago and just now i realise how much she meant for me!

works fine i've tried it.
games on lg u8360 is easy to uplod if you ggot a card.

G'day

I Have this problem with my phone...
I can sync with LG desktop no probs there
But i cant with LG Phone Manager
It says "fail to connect to mobile handset, please check comport and connect in idle screen. due to multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect."
i relise that you posted that comment a couple
of months ago and was wondering if you found a solution?

I Want to explain that LG U8360 is avery good phone and you can set mp3 as ringtone if you want to be sure enter the lg mobile sit and you will be sure

this is the best phone ever get it only $169 at tandy or dicksmith. Get it quick only for 3 more weeks hurry.

why it does not connect when i try to connect it with the USB device. Every time it says “failed to connect com port error”.is there some thing missing in that?plz reply me.

I bought the LG U8360 unlocked on Ebay. I'm in the US so, I had to change the settings to my carrier (T-Mobile). It is a very good phone. The outer color screen can look distorted sometimes, depending on the angel your viewing from, but it takes very good pictures and videos. The mp3 is great. The speaker is loud and clear. I have only two complaints. 1) While using the speaker phone with an active call, you can not close the phone. 2) The calculator does not offer a % function. Both of these are useful and should be standard on a phone with so many other high end features. My other phone is the Motorola V635, it has the % function and you can close the phone while engaged with an active speaker call, but I didn't care the call history and it's mp3 player is not so good. Overall the LG U8360 is a very good phone and I would reccomend it. :)
