I brought LG U8380 cell phone in UK. Now, i am in Malaysia. I went to maxis centre to configure the setting so that i can use 3G line and receive colour wallpaper messages. After configured according to LG U8380 setting provided, i still unable to receive MMS messages and 3G services. Please guide me clearly so that i can use this phone here.According to maxis service provider, they ask me to refer to u all. So, please guide me so that i can use this phone with all the functions. Thank you.

it's a grate phone for his price, but after 6-8 months will crush for ever, I ashour you

I have had this fone for about one year now and have had it repaired three times!!! Reception problems, keypad not working, faulty front LCD screen. Not just my fone to my 2 mates have this phone to and have had it repaired too, stay away from this phone.

hey i am in sweden and i have network problem here i dont know what to do so please anybody can tell i have convert it into 2g but same network problem so any body know what to do.

The zoom is good but it would be nice if a person couild zoom even closer - especially when taking photos. A nice tight shot of a flower is sometimes hard to get with a zoom of only 2.

The phone is just enough for a phone but lm only having network problems .Does anyone know how to deal with this one ?

the phone works just fine, it's easy to use even when you attach it to your pc(through the usb of course), my only regret is that it's not a symbian phone :(

Nice phone. Has lots of potential but i've problems with network. Does anyone know if i can manual lock it to work on 2G and not 3G?

for all those who cannot connect the phone to the computer: -first connect the phone to the pc using usb cable without installing the lg pc suite; -then the found new hardware icon in the system tray will appear. put the cd in the cd rom and install the drivers using the wizards instructions! - after that install pc suite and select the com port wich has an asterisc wich is selected by the pc as your conection to the phone. thats all! it should work! i had the same problem but i solved it like so!

i got this phone about a week ago and i think this is the best phone in the world because it has 1.3 megapixel camera and it is just a very good phone

Hey, i just got this phone i think that it is brilliant, but i can't seemt o put videos on to it using the data cable, the video transfers but when i go to open it the file show up as a audio file. If you have any info or help for me plase email me on hiten_dabest@hotmail.com

DO u guys reli fink its dat good? i mean yea sure the sound system etc is pretty mad...but i found out dat the more stuff u put on the memory card the laggier the phone gets...and i mean very very laggy...like i put 15 songs on it? and it took my ages to type a txt..and its very hard for me coz like i txt alot and i txt fast...and it takes ages for u to open the file for the memory card...it lags the phone more if u put high resolution pics on it. and teh 1.3 mp camera isnt reli dat 1.3ish. Its very hard to adjust the the brightness and stuff. It also gets very very pixelated after zooming..but overall its alrite if ur not reli into dat much of entertainment (eventhough dis phone is marked an entertainment phone by lg) but i giv it high scores for its sound quality, even on speakers it reli gives u dat 3d sound like the e398 or the rokr's..
