Christie, Video confrencing is to see and talk to another person. Similar to web cam!
You need to be on what they call 3G service the carrier that i know has it is 3. some countries dont have it a 3G service. You would be on a 2G service now in that case you can't use Video confrencing. hope that answers your question.

I have and i one lg u8380. and i can` say it`s one of the best phone. only i` don`t know if i can use this phone like web cam. if somone know please thel`me. thank you.
and where i can`t take driver for him.

It's realy a good phone, but there are som things about it that i don't like such as: the camera when i take photos and after that when i download them on to the PC, the quality is poor. Maybe i don't know how to make the settings. Something else why the heak when i make a phonecall it's only rings one time and then its stops and the other person answers.
With all of that is a very good phone, powerful, and good looking. And it's cost it is suportable. Bye Bye!!!

uh..does anywanna know how 2 connect the bluetooth handsfree,came with the phone? i'm not really god @ this.NEED HEEELP! Can somebody send me an email,with all the "how to"...pliiz :D

this phone is awesome and affordable at only 279 aus dollars. but i still would prefer the u880 and also id like to say the external screen isnt 128x160

the lg u8380 is a really good phone powerful good looks it can take up to a 1gb micro sd card not 256mb

Great phone for the ones who know a little about these toys...
You can install games on it simply by copying the .jar/.jad files on the external memory in the "others" folder...

You can put games onto the phone by using a program called GThing, its the only way, but it costs $7.

Secondly the drivers for the phone can be downloaded on LG's site.

yes you need the miniCD software kit!
it was in the box.and it s working.......it s a cool phone but the maximum card is 256 mb so that sucks!

I just bought this LG U8380.It's a wonderfull phone, the USB cavle is working but i don't know how to instal games into it. If anyone knows please give me a mail. I really need this. Thank's

I was wondering do you need software to connect the phone to a pc. It came with a USB cable to connect it but computer wont recognise it without the drivers. If you do need it, where can I buy the software or download it? Thanks everyone

Ayman, No there has been changes to the guts of the New LG phone no mater what is said, I know because i now own LGU8380. Within the 14 free day look period i had to change it. So my new exchange 8380 is here on Wednesday 26th oct. The triangle 3 button "service on my phone" is scrambled in both 2g area and 3g. So i know that the workings are different in these new 8380 phones. LG listern - Improve your phone look and add new stuff BUT DON'T change things that are perfect, Try using your phones more like myself the people who buy them.

I beleive the 8380 was not enhanced in an effective way. Its merely a facelift to the other LG 3G phons.
I have an LG 8138, and im not sure how I can edit the MMS/WAP settings! When clicking on the field to input settings, it only allows numbers, but not text!
Anyone knows how to change that; i.e. enter text??
